Hong Kong Buffet — Restaurant in Foster Township

I only give it one star because it wouldn't allow me to give it none.. In regards to the food there was a very little if any taste they made no effort to actually make their food succulent and have great quality flavors no. They did the exact opposite. They made sure that anyone who ate it knew that the food was watered down and flavorless to save money. Even their sodas watered down and flat. The owner kept walking over and screaming at different people right in my ear. Yelled at me for accidentally calling it a Chinese buffet and informed me that China and Hong Kong are not the same thing. I understand culturally they're not but it's Chinese food that that's being served I did not deserve as a customer to get yelled at for a minor error..

not only that but multiple of the foods there were just absolutely horrible. Example the macaroni and cheese that was there when I asked the guy why it tasted weird he said that they melted cheese into mayonnaise... I don't know about any of you but I don't put cheese and mayonnaise in my macaroni and cheese nor have I heard of anyone else doing that..

They had pork ribs there but all the meat had been cut off and then when I went around the buffet I realized that they had pork fried rice and all the meat from the ribs were in the rice..

I don't normally like Chinese food but my girlfriend absolutely loves it! So we don't go here often. Today is Valentine's Day so I surprised her and took her to her favorite spot. My cousin waited on us, she seated us and had drinks in our hands in under a minute. Well today I REALLY enjoyed the food there. Not so much the meats and seafood but everything else was soo good! I had seconds! We got full belly's and left happy. Thank you Hong Kong Buffet. I just added new pictures from my second trip there and the food was just as good and the guy working there gave me a whole bag of fortune cookies! UPDATE-4/27/22- So we decided to have lunch here again and once more we were not disappointed! Food was phenomenal as always except one thing was different.. IT WAS FREE!!! My girl and I got to talking to the manager and I was asking him if he had seen my reviews. He said he had and told me it was on the house. I was pulling a couple 20s out of my wallet getting ready to pay. I was shocked! I said "free"? Lol I wasn't expecting it. Every time we eat here we talk to the guy. He's always very friendly. I'm still shocked and it's been hours. So we will always be going back to eat here. Good food, Good people and Good environment....

Was really disappointed in the quality of the food here. We make it a family tradition when we travel to Bradford Pennsylvania to stop at this buffet. Last time We went to the restaurant it was closed down supposedly for renovations anyways we went today with the family and the food just was awful and what we believe to be the owner at first he was making excuses of why the food wasn't good He said that he took the old food from last night and mixed it with a fresher food. So we try to give it another chance We got something else to eat at the buffet The food tasted rancid so we just got up and told the owner that I'm sorry we can't eat this food It's just disgusting and he started blaming us saying it was in our heads but it really was nasty low grade quality. I'm not sure if we caught that restaurant on a bad day cuz it doesn't seem to have that bad of reviews but I'm not going to leave a fake good review at a place that was just awful.
