Good place for ice cream and shakes. Good size portions on these and giant portion for fries. Other than that, the hot food is satisfying considering the venue. I had the bu4ger multiple times and was not satisfied with it. Figured the first time was a one-off, but it was the same each time. Some of the prices are high, but the portions make up for the price. Good place to take the kids. After posting my original review , Kelly (one of the owners) approached me at the table and asked about my review. She wanted to know why the burger was not appealing to me and asked how they could improve it. She explained that the burgers are hand pressed daily from fresh ground beef. They do not use frozen or pre-made patties. I was very pleased that Kelly took the time to speak with me. She cares about her customers and the quality. 5 stars for this, thank you Kelly. As for improving the burger, I could not give her a way to improve it. I do recall the burger was abit overcooked. Disappointing experience. We stopped down today for some ice cream after dinner. While the flavors of ice cream are expansive that's about the end of it. Staff looks and acts annoyed that they have to do speak with customers and are not well trained. We ordered a flurry and 2 small ice cream cones. There was no one in line before or after us, yet the staff seemed confused and we had 3 different people work on our order. Asked for a cone, they put it in a bowl, I asked for a small and definitely got a large, my daughter actually got a small. The flurry completely melted by the time we got to our vehicle and was mostly melted ice cream and the cones were running and dripping all over the place too. I could understand if we were there for awhile or it was scorching hot out- but it wasn't. A dissapointing trip as well as a waste of money as we couldn't eat it and it made a mess. Very clean establishment, but orders weren’t consistent. Treated my dad and brother to banana splits. Both made completely different. One with chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla hard ice cream. The other made completely of vanilla soft serve. Made by separate workers. Ordered a turtle Sunday for myself, a worker told the other he didn’t know how to make it. She said she would do it. He said no, and that was okay and then just put nuts, half a cup of Hershey syrup, then vanilla soft serve in a cup and handed it to me. Was not at all what I was expecting.
