When asked what I like about this business, I need EVERYTHING! button! And I finally found it again! I had stopped in just by chance 3 years ago or so and Jacqui was right in the middle of making an Indian feather sculpture. She is such an amazing person to talk to! So talented! And she took me into her shop and showed me how she does it, even had me doing it with her. And then she sent me home with a copper feather which has hung above my bed in my RV in all of my years on the road ever since, and always will. This was the best part of Tubac for my group. We were on a girls shopping trip for garden goodies from Tucson. You have to stop here if you're in town. Be aware-THEY DON'T TAKE CREDIT CARDS. Be prepared to write a check or visit the ATM. I bought this birdfeeder- but it took me 20 minutes to pick which one I wanted, as they were all completely unique and equally gorgeous. I'll be back for a fountain when I buy my new house....

A real artist studio. After looking through Tubac and seeing only retail shops selling manufactured items it was such a relief to arrive at Designs in Copper. This is a real art studio with the artists working away at their craft.
