Was very excited to go to this store. We drove all the way from Tucson and was denied entry. Checking their website it said that masks were required, so we abided by that request. We were stopped by an employee who demanded we put hand sanitizer on. I told her that I can't use sanitizer on my skin. She said, "it doesn't matter, you're going to be touching things in the store." When I told her I couldn't shop there if that were the case, she said, "fine!" As we were leaving, she called out in a sarcastic tone, "sorry!" As business owners, I respect their right to set policy. But if that's the case, then put that on your website before I drive an hour to visit your store. Driving so far in trying to support these small businesses and then to be treated like that was more than disappointing. They lost my business as well as that of my family and friends. I will never shop here and will tell everyone I know how poorly the guests are treated. These employees need to learn some common courtesy in dealing with people who are patronizing their business during these...

Now I understand the fear of the virus, but the law states that if you have a note from your doctor that you are exempt. So we drove to Tubac today mainly to go to the kitchen shop. And yes while we were there we went to a couple of our favorite places. But as we tried to enter the kitchen shop, we were approached by an employee who requested that we use sanitizer! ( only works for germs not virus) and told my 80yo Mom that she needed a mask, we explained to the lady that she has a note from her doctor, and we were informed that she would have to wear a mask, unable to do so do to medical condition we walked out. Well I went back in to explaine the law and was told private company's can make there own rules/ kinda sorta /. I then voiced my opinion on how masks are a joke, and the lady got upset telling me that she had someone at home who was sick. Very disappointed by the complete lack of respect for customers coming to the store. All of tubac is mask-crazy but this place not only requires purel but also talks poorly about customers who maybe have an issue and can’t use purel all day long. Plus I overheard an employee talking about caring for someone with covid. Well if you’re that “convinced” that this virus is so scarey why are you here infecting others? Personally I am not afraid of a virus with a 99.99% survival rate. I am however terrified of stupidity and hypocracy that I fear will create a very different country than the one we see disappearing today. Very sad state of affairs. Even logic doesn’t...
