Went to Arizona for the first time to visit family. We had a great time shopping, in Tubac, with all the shops. Decided to stop in and look around at Old Presidio Traders. They had a great selection of turquoise jewelry. I once had a favorite ring that I lost last year. It was made by Lakota Indians in Custer, South Dakota. I was upset that it was gone. While looking over the selection, at Presidio, I spotted a ring that was almost its twin! I had to have it! They sized it and it fit perfectly. Being in an area that prides themselves on selling local art, there was a lot of stuff that was made in China.. Also, a lot of their jewelry was acquired from a pawn shop on a reservation.
