Our contractor, JVC was great before, during and after our project. Our community’s project involved an area around a compromised building stairwell and nearby internal structures. As a board member of an Association, living year-round in the community, I was very pleased with JVC’s team performance driven by their thorough can-do approach. The JVC team worked professionally with the board members, subcontractors and regulatory agencies. An example of this was when the structural engineer suggested one approach during preliminary evaluations. After reviewing the structural engineering reports, JVC proactively proposed to the structural engineer an alternative approach that met the structural requirements and was a significant cost savings to our community. Another example of JVC’s professionalism involves their good communication which is often not seen as an important aspect of any project by the contractors. One of the standout features is the custom music studio they built—expertly soundproofed, beautifully finished, and hands-down one of our favorite rooms in the house. JVC were exceptional to work with from start to finish. Rodney worked with us to redesign our log home plans for the complex mountain-side topography we have. The home was built in a timely and efficient manner with great cost and information transparency.
