Update: We went twice this summer 2025, disappointed both times. We ordered 5 both times, and every single one was nothing but ice below the cup line. Handed them all back and they were just rude. By the 4th and 5th one that we asked for more flavor please, because literally could see nothing but white all down the sides. And the kids were like hey there's no flavor syrup when they stuck the spoon in them... So the girls working there FLOODED them then. They were spilling all over my kids and basically just soup when they "fixed" them for us. I couldn't have been any nicer saying her could we please get a little more flavor on These. The teens who were ordering after us looked over and the one girl said Yeah, I always have to ask for extra syrup, or we get a cup of ice with flavor on top only too... So it's a common occurrence apparently. We even went back a second time thinking it was just a fluke in June... Nope it was just as bad end of July as well... We'll stick to the Sunshine Shaved Ice in Grantsville, theybe made a mistake maybe once and fixed it right away no problem. Not got mad and flooded my kids shaved ice cups andade everyone miserable and sticky. My kids threw half their soup away last time we went here. Really a shame. Maybe they'll get a better crew next summer.
2021** Love this place. Huge treats, for cheap. Kids love it. Makes for a fun day to take a swim, and get a shaved ice. Hawaiian Rainbow and...
Read moreThe shaved ice itself is decent. It’s not magical but it’s not necessarily missing anything major. I like the options to add snow cap and ice cream. There are a ton of flavor options and combos. The pricing is decent and there’s lots of size options.
My problem is that every time we have been the wait is looooonnnggg. It shouldn’t take a half hour to get a snow cone, but we’ve been multiple times and it always takes around 25-35 min after ordering to get our snow cones. I’m not sure if it’s the staff or the machines. I just feel that you shouldn’t be waiting for a snow cone as long as you’d be waiting for a table at Chili’s.
There’s also no place to sit and wait so you have to stand in the hot sun the whole time. Just adding a canopy with some benches would at least make the wait bearable. I always have my toddler with me and though he is well behaved, it just makes for a long time for him to be still while he is so excited for his special treat.
The snow cones are good, but the wait is just not worth it most...
Read moreThis review is for the my experience with the paddle boards. I waited in line for about 30 minutes to get a paddle board. The line was for both the paddle boards and the shaved ice. There were 5 paddle boards left and I was 3rd in line. One person in front of me got 2 paddle boards, so there were 3 left. After the lady was helping them she asked 2 different groups stand closer to the paddle boards if they needed one and gave them the last 3 that were left. At this point I was frustrated and not very patient. When I approached the window I asked for a paddle board and she said they didn’t have any more. I probably should of spoke up sooner, but it is still frustrating that I had...
