A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Utah

I think this is my first ever google review, but I'm worried so... Okay, food was meh, they don't toast the buns at all so if you get any sort of saucy burger stuff's gettin' mashy real fast. Lettuce has been trending towards limp and quite bitter, usually so chopped up it's difficult to pick off if it's making my meal hard to eat. Fries are generally good and pretty salty (Which I am a fan of but others might not be of course, just watch out if too much salt would mess up your day). Service can be pretty quick, but if there's more than four cars the poor staff seem to get overwhelmed and it ends up making the pile up worse.

Have finished nearly two episodes of anime from where I pulled in (I was only one car behind the order speaker, but once you're that far forwards only then can you see the eight cars chillin' there and know you're in for a super long wait but also are generally blocked in by then and thus resigned to your fate)

More importantly, are the people working there okay?????

My food was handed to me in a Maverik Gas station plastic bag? (Also has been handed to me in generic THANK YOU plastic bags, you know the ones, matter of fact haven't seen the proper branded bags in awhile. A red flag imo)

There's often loads of handwritten signs taped up all the time on the speaker and service window. It looks ROUGH if there's even a bit of moisture and they can be a bit hard to read I have to admit.

The ones announcing sudden product unavailability? Totally fine and appreciated, when legible.

Ones half-heartedly written in sharpie on a ripped off square of paper to promote the store and items available for purchase instead of proper affiliated promotion materials I'm fairly certain a chain restaurant would supply upon request? Fishy and makes me worry management could be really screwing over the younger folk doing their best to make some money. Or management is being sunk by poor workforce and might need some help somehow.

Window peeps were cheery, but poor guy looked pretty worn out too.

I really do hope you SEND someone there to investigate, because only in the last couple months has it really started falling apart in such a significant way and you guys might end up in hot water.

Sorry I don't have any photos, I'm one of those people who don't really take them often so I never think to do so, but I promise as of this review the poor place is falling apart and I'd just be bummed if it got shut down due to negligent or reckless staff...

First off I usually dont write bad reviews. But I think this needed to be addressed. I UNDERSTAND it's a new place and just opened but that's NO excuse!! DONT open if your not prepared for the dailey functions of your business. Let alone crowds you'll inevitably encounter. And don't make all the food 40 minutes before you get to the window after you order. COMMON SENSE!!! And to top it off the phone number listed for this business isn't even for this restaurant. so you can't even bring it to their attention without going back in. which I will do!! waited in the drive through yesterday around 3:20 p.m. and there were approx. 8-10 cars in drive thru. was going to go in but 2 cars pulled up immediately behind us, so no way to leave at this point. so we sat and sat and sat for atleast 30 min before we even got to menu to order. Once we ordered with 5 cars ahead of us that had ordered, we sat and sat for another 30 to 40 minutes. got to the window and she was confused on what order we had...cleared that up and left the window and tried a fry. COLD and rubbery. wasn't about to go in and deal with MORE wait time and confusion. we were late anyways due to wait time!!! got home 5 minutes away and everything we ordered was ice cold, hard or rubbery and not on me but of ice cream was left in the root beer float and the root beer WAS WARM as well. we ordered and threw away 17.00 worth of inedible food after 1 bite, a cold hard papa burger, 2 orders of cold nasty fries, 3 piece chicken strips that were cold and hard. and 2 warm, melted root...

The food was fine but the environment was filthy. From the moment you walked in the lobby was a mess, tables were dirty, there was litter on the floor out in the dining area as well as behind in the preparation area. There were straw wrappers, napkins, and food wrappers kicked out of the aisles under all of the appliances in the prep area. Pretty much everyone there, which appeared to be about six or seven, were all teenagers. There did not seem to be anyone really in charge of cleanliness, operations, or location appearance. During our time there a manager person did show up and appeared to be engaged with some kind of equipment that she needed to work on that she placed on the front counter where you would place an order. A man stood and waited several minutes until she was done and then was able to place his order. There were two stations that you could order from, but only one was one was being used. The outside of the restaurant was dirty as well. The front door and windows were dirty. There were grease stains all over the sidewalk by the front door and it appears someone poured grease into the flower bed out in front. While this restaurant is not very old, it is really taking a beating! That seems like a waste of a great investment. I hope somebody really pays attention to this and brings it to the standard that this...
