Heather at Top Tier Confections is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Here's why:

1. Our cake impressed every single one of our guests. Each one commented on how our wedding cake was the most beautiful and delicious they've ever had!! My wedding was back in May and it's now October, and I still have people asking me if I could send them pictures of my cake because they wanted to show a friend how unique and beautiful it was.
2. Heather is the ultimate hype woman. I told her the theme, colors, and inspiration for my wedding, and she helped me brainstorm and come up with ideas! She didn't just take an order — she went above and beyond to understand me and my dream wedding so she could give her best contribution. Without Heather, I wouldn't have known about our cake design Heather was one of my favorite vendors to talk to, and ordering our cake was one of the most fun wedding planning tasks.
3. When something went wrong with the cake on our wedding day, Heather took every step possible to make it up to us. Heather handled the situation with professionalism, empathy, and grace. (Also, as I mentioned, people were too busy being amazed at the cake's beauty and taste to know that something was unexpected). Every business owner will make mistakes eventually, but from the way she handled our situation, Heather restored my confidence in her. Heather will always be my top choice for cakes in Utah.
4. My husband and I tried saving our top tier for our 1-year anniversary, but we couldn't stop thinking about the cake just waiting in our freezer.... we ate it for our 3-month anniversary. After three months of being frozen, it was still the BEST cake ever! I've also had a birthday cake from Heather and it was absolutely wonderful.

Long story short, it is impossible to praise Top Tier Confections enough. You won't regret ordering your cake...

Heather with Top Tier Confections is brilliant! She did a birthday cake for my baby turning 1 year old and I had not dreamed I would get a cake so perfect. I told her the basic theme of the party and an idea I had for a cake and she took it to the next level of perfectionism and I was blown away! Not only did the cake look perfect, it was cared for and transported in the safest condition and treated by Heather as though it was for her own party. Heather also added little details to the cake that I hadn’t even thought of doing and they made the design even more amazing! On top of all this, the cake was DELICIOUS!! I am not a cake fan and am very picky with cakes and how they taste because rarely does a cake taste good at all-this one tasted spectacular! My husband and other family members also commented separately on how delicious the cake was and that they’ve never tasted such a delicious cake. I still cannot get over how happy and excited I am by Heather and her work and how perfect my baby’s cake was. Wow! Working with Heather was a complete joy and she truly captured the spirit and vibe we were envisioning for our wedding cake. From the very first communication with her, she was so collaborative and really took the time to understand our overall design and vision to make our wedding cake ours. I have to say, we got married in Zion National Park and she legitimately took so much care and effort to recreating the outside of the cake to the exact mountain scapes of Zion, that we were absolutely blown away!

I cannot say enough great things about how tasty the cake was in addition to the design. Not only does she offer a multitude of flavors, she was also very reassuring and helpful when deciding the perfect cake/buttercream combo for us and oh man was the cake a hit with our guests as well.

10/10 - highly recommend!! Thank you Heather for a great experience and trust that you were one of the best highlights of our wedding day!
