we have been having severe issues getting the correct prescriptions for over 6 months , we get notices that say your prescription is ready and drive to pick them up and they aren't ready and the we watch the pharmacist get out the red bins and fill prescriptions that we already have and now have 7 months of and still can't get the prescriptions we have had sent by our dr. for almost a month now , and have been out of for weeks , the manager says come up and we will cover your copay and refund you for the 180 pills that i don't take anymore , and they cant figure out how to take out of the system after asking them to do for 4-6 months now . the 5 trips we have made for that particular script that we can't get . the girl at the window said we now have to pay for ? , we have called corporate 5 times the store 8 times , we got hung up on and had to call back again today , we have wasted a tank of gasoline and i can't walk because my meds are tied up ? we had a similar problem about 6 months ago when they put the wrong pills in the bottle and it messed up my blood work , so now i have to pay for monthly blood tests until my blood levels return to the levels my dr. spent 4 years on to get me functional , i have been seeing that dr. since 2009 once a month as my condition has to be monitored closely , we miss the old pharmacist he had the pharmacy working flawlessly for years , we are older and when we talk to others in our neighborhood they are having the same problems wasting time and gasoline that we will never recover , we don't know who's fault it is we just know the problems are severe , we don't want to drive 28 miles to go to the walgreens in another town , we will attempt to pick up the scripts again today on our 7th trip , the gas cost more than the medicine and we are stuck with the bill for something we have no...
Read moreThe Fox Lake Walgreens Pharmacy on Sayton & Rte 12 is the worse Walgreens I have been to. There phone system is BROKEN & USELESS. Incident today #1: I received a call stating that I needed to call them so a link could be sent for an RX. ON Tuesday after a 3rd visit, they did not have RX in stock & would have to be requested from another store. I tried to pay, absolutely not. I was told a text would be sent so I could enter billing info. NO I got a call requesting I Call them so they could text me this link. ON HOLD FOR 50 MINUTES & when I got to store & showed my phone, they hung up on all calls & apologized but they were busy. (See Screen shot from my phone below.) There is absolutely NO REASON a customer should be on phone for 50 MINUTES. I get it they are short staff, then your PHONE automated system must be FIXED. Other companies take your # & call back. I guess that is not possible for Walgreens. Tuesday I went to check on another RX as it had been requested on Friday. IN process the entire time & phone wait on that call was 9 min 1st call, then 11:55 min on 2nd attempt to speak to someone for reason as to why it was still in process. Went into store 3 times on Tuesday and lines inside pharmacy section were no less than 7 people deep & 3 or 4 people waiting for shots. When I check online for status all I get is in process. IF you call after several days you are put on hold. You then must go in store, wait in line for 10-15 minutes to speak to a, human. I have been a customer for over 10 yrs but as of Monday all prescription for myself, spouse, mother , children & grandchildren will be transferred to another provider. SO DONE WITH WALGREENS. Hope that there is no strike, as people will then die...
Read moreAvoid this Walgreens at all costs! While shopping there has been problematic for me in the past, today's trip completely disgusted me. I tried to purchase some frozen goods and found that they weren't frozen, or even near freezing. I tried to be nice and inform the cashier, and was told that they have been having issues for a while with the freezer, but have chosen to continue to sell food that has not been held at safe temperatures. People are going to get sick from this and the employees don't care! This is absolutely appalling, not to mention illegal and immoral.
I also had to stop filling scripts here a while back, and now at times drive past this pharmacy to get to a different one. The pharmacy staff is rude and unprofessional. One employee one time felt the need to yell out the names of every prescription he was ringing up so that all the other customers in line (and through out most of the store) could hear what medicines other people were taking. This is a HIPAA violation. Again, illegal. Another time a young lady working at the pharmacy, who was clearly new to the company, asked another employee for assistance with an error message on the computer that she hadn't seen before. The other employee started yelling and screaming at her in front of a line of customers! On several trips the pharmacy was grossly understaffed, with long lines being served by the rudest of...
