Burrito Express — Restaurant in Fox Lake

We were supposed to have a credit from the previous nightmare we called and spoke to the owner I do want to say he was very kind and understanding however previously they had messed up our order so bad that we got home and everything was wrong. So we decided to stop because we had a credit. The credit was 25.00 we got one fajita meal with extra meat and guac and chips I want to tell you this was 46.00 total. For 46 dollars it definitely was not worth it. There was hardly any meat and we ordered extra and was charged $8 extra for the meat we would normally share a fajita dinner between the two of us however this time and the last several times there is no way that it would feed two people keep in mind I eat one of the fajitas my husband eats the rest I generally eat the guac and chips their food is good but they are getting very cheap on their food and what they put into their dinners now. If they're charging that much for it they should at least give it to you. I understand cutting back due to cost Etc but not when you pay for it! I told the owner the last time I would not do a review and I did not however this time it was just ridiculous. We love their food don't get me wrong but you should at least get what you pay for and they should get your order right. The young girl was very nice obviously she had no control over how much meat went into the dinner to be honest there wasn't very many vegetables either. Hope they start doing a better job and their prices are according because they definitely are not reflecting in the food they...

First time ordering from here. Ordered in restaurant for to-go. 1 regular king beef burrito, 1 California king steak burrito and 8 oz guacamole.

Was a Saturday evening around 8:30 pm. I had just left work and didn't want to cook but was hungry.

Lots of people coming in to pick up orders, a few people seated.

When we got home, there was only 1 small container of guacamole in the bag and 2 HUGE burritos. Called the restaurant, they asked us to bring the order back with the receipt. Husband drove back since we are only 5 minutes away. He said they confirmed the order and gave him more guacamole. Guacamole was fresh. Well-balanced and Tasted delicious with the chips I had at home. When we unwrapped the burritos, they smelled good. They are big! They were wrapped in aluminum foil.

The steak burrito was very tasty. Steak was Seasoned well with a lot of sautéed green peppers and onions wrapped very well in the tortilla. It's a good thing I tasted it, before my husband started eating it, because he ate it in less than 10 minutes

The beef burrito... It was also made as a California burrito but was not ordered this way. It was literally dripping in grease. The tortilla was so wet that it just fell apart when I tried to pick it up. I did taste a few pieces of ground beef. No specific flavor other than grease. I no longer had interest in eating it. I really had a craving for a burrito and was looking...

These hundreds of 5 stars reviews probably are be fake because this was the worst experience I had in while eating at Mexican restaurant. First at all the kid who takes order is so ignorant and not even listening what you are saying. Ordered king steak burrito with everything, told me will 5 min, but 30 min later gives me completly different burrito and insist I have ordered it. Than, 10 min later makes another one , but still not as ordered, no tommatos, no beans , no cilantro.. etc Just watery meat with lettuce and sour cream which all fell apart out from bag. Like garbage. What a joke. Came first time and never again.. All place and restroom...
