On 8/17 - I had a 10 AM appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, inspection, and alignment. I also agreed to have my rear shocks replaced. The shocks arrived within 25 minutes of me approving the work, but I still ended up waiting here for over five hours for the job to be completed.
If you schedule an appointment, you should reasonably expect your vehicle to be brought into the shop within 30 minutes at the latest, even if theyâre running behind. I showed up early for my appointment, yet it was more than two hours before my truck was even pulled into a bay.
On top of that, when I asked for my military discount, the service manager, Mark, sighed and complained about having to take one step back to properly bill me on my invoice. That level of attitude is completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
They did not ask me if I had any coupons I wanted to use, and still charged me $21 for the complete vehicle inspection, even though their own website coupon clearly listed the service at $9.99. That kind of malpractice adds insult to injury. Mark seems more concerned with protecting his bonus than doing right by customers â and it shows in the way billing and coupons are handled here.
What makes this worse is the way they tried to justify how long I was stuck waiting. It took them more than two hours just to bring my truck into the shop, and then another two-plus hours before they even began the shock replacement â despite the shocks arriving within 25 minutes. Their excuse was that hardware was seized, but as a mechanic myself, I know thatâs something experienced techs should be able to handle efficiently.
I am a mechanic myself and work at a dealership. I chose to do business here only because I didnât want to do the work myself and wanted the added coverage of a warranty. In hindsight, I should have just done it on my own â I would have finished much faster, managed my time better, and saved myself from wasting nearly an entire day at this location.
For a scheduled appointment, this kind of delay, poor customer service, and questionable billing practices are unacceptable. This location does not seem organized or efficient, and the overall experience left me very disappointed. I expected much better service and time management....
Read moreDon't take your car to Firestone! I made the mistake of going to the same Firestone every time I had a problem with my Tahoe. Over the years I have spent a lot of money there. This time they acted like they didn't have time to fix it, like it was in the way and they didn't want to deal with it. I had never had problems with them before, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and trusted them. After having it for 3 weeks they finally called me and said it was the ignition was bad. The guy at the front desk told me it would be an expensive fix and I'd have to take it to the dealership, so I'd be better off selling it. Today I sold it for $2,000. I posted it for $6,000 but because it wasn't running I dropped the price to $2000. I got a call on my way home from the guy I sold the Tahoe to. He thanked me for being honest about the engine, when I told him it ran just fine and the engine is good. I was confused, but he went on to tell he was able to fix Tahoe in the parking lot of Firestone and drive it home! Come to find out it was the silanoid that was bad. I would have never sold it had I known it was a fixable and wouldn't cost upwards of $5000 (rough estimate from Firestone) to fix . I got the feeling that the employees at Firestone were being lazy, and making up a diagnosis because it would be a lot of work to fix, but I went against my gut feeling and trusted them. So now I not only lost my mom's Tahoe, which was the only thing I had left of her, but they also cost me $4,000! So please tell me how a man (who is not a mechanic) was able to fix this vehilce in the parking lot of a Firestone within an hour, but Firestone couldn't figure it out in the 3 weeks they had it. It is shameful, and they should be beyond embarrassed. On a side note, my mom bought this Tahoe in 1999, brand new, and kept it till the day she died. She loved this truck and even though she couldn't drive it, she kept it in great condition.
Great job Firestone on Arapahoe and Parker. Thank for all the...
Read moreI scheduled a 9am appointment for my fleet vehicle to get normal wear and tear maintenance and I just received my car at 640PM . They didnât even want to communicate with me the whole time , every conversation felt like I was being rushed to shut up . I called after 8 hours went by and they said itâll be done by 6 , which is the time they close . So I arrive at 525 and everyoneâs sitting around laughing doing nothing . I ask the older manger/supervisor whatâs going on and he said that they put in a request for my vehicle to get new tires at 2pm (5 hours to do service that would take Walmart an hour tops?) and they say my fleet company didnât approve it until 530 ... Welp , I called my fleet company (Wheels) and they said the request in fact was NOT put in at 2 , it was put in at 430 and my company approved it at 5:15. So why is the manager lying to customers? He even had the audacity to say MY FLEET COMPANY WAS LYING . Laughable . They send me the invoice and even that was fabricated . They said I brought my vehicle in at 12 pm and that it was done by 6:36 pm . Lying to customers and fabricating paperwork is something that will definitely be brought up with multiple parties. They couldnât even apologize for the terrible service . Never again. They know my company is paying for the service so they try to keep on adding and adding things so they can make more money , âWheelsâ even told me they had to deny requests because they had exceeded my companies budget(which is not easy to do) . And if âInâ means the time you actually brought my car into the garage.. thatâs ridiculous because I had a scheduled appointment at 9am , which I was on time for. If you were way too busy to get to my vehicle for 3 hours you wouldnât think to let your customer know ? UPDATE : They are so negligent and were in such a ârushâ that once they hadnât finished & it had hit closing times they just threw my wheels on sloppily and now my front tires are clicking every rotation ....
