Arguably the best Lebanese food around, but buyer beware is in order here. The yogurt dish made each member of my family violently ill with terrible diarrhea, stomach cramps and the most painful abdominal pain I've ever experienced! Although these symptoms were horrendous to go through, it was completely aweful when I brought this to the attention of both the owners George (affectionately known as Ju-Ju) and his lovely wife and they both refused to take any responsibility or offer any compensation or refund or exchange. Instead they denied responsibility and blamed me, saying that it must have been something that I eat earlier. After nearly 5 years I have returned to shop here, the homemade hommus is superb, but I stay away from the tzatziki!
So it's been a few years since I shopped here the stomach pain from the taziki kept me away for a very long while. But I finally decided to give them another try. So I ordered up some humas. Best humas around! But as I watched the cook clean the container with her finger then lick it clean I ran...
Read moreordinary taste at expensive prices and bad customer service standards make this a place to be avoided. I found this place by doing a search online and went there on the weekend. I ordered my zaatar with vegetables at 09.40am and was told it will be ready in 5 to 10 minutes. There were about four other staff members in the kitchen and only one table of customer (party of three) who had already been served their order. At about 10am I asked the cashier to check on my order as it had been way more than what she told me. She wen to check in the kitchen and asked the staff for an update, after which they started making my order. Low and behold a simple order of a zaatar took them 30 minutes! To add insult to injury, the quality and flavor of zaatar left a lot to be desired. Having lived in Arabian countries and eaten Arabian and Lebanese cuisine all my life, I sure know a thing or two...

CUSTOMER SERVICE:
George welcomed us when we came in. This is a market-restaurant.
FOOD:
Mixed Kabob, one of the best I've had. It had three different types of meats. Plus the rice, hummus and tabuleth was SPOT ON!
My favorite, hummus was fresh, balanced and a beautiful flavor.
Tabuleth, was also fresh and not too lemony.
The different meats were also full of flavors. And the different textures made the experience one full of grace for the palate .
For a small family owned business this was a great experience.
PICKY PART:
Bathrooms need some tender loving care. Dolmas were on the "vinegary" side. The flavors were not balanced. The vinegar flavor was overpowering.
