Twinbrook Farms — Local services in Franklin Lakes

I have been a customer of Twinbrook for many many years. I am a local and have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars at this nursery. Today I got the shock of my life from a young man who said that he was the manager. I happened to go into another nursery in our area. There I found the identical banana tree that I bought from Twinbrook a couple of days ago for $130 for $85 at this near by nursery. I called Twinbrook to tell them that their competitor down the road charged 45 dollars less. The manager was so rude. He did say that he would refund the money for the tree if I dug it up and brought it to him. Are you kidding me? I am not young nor strong enough to dig up a tree. I have proof through photos that the other tree down the road is the price I quoted. The correct action would have been to offer me a credit for the difference in price. I own a much larger business than Twinbrook Farms and caring for our customers is our priority. Boy is this company in trouble. Customer service and competitive pricing should be their number one priority. Oh btw I spent an additional 350 dollars that day. They lost a very good customer and the rest of my families and friends...

Delivery and planting took more than 4 weeks one tree after figuring out that they had forgotten my purchase and asked me if I had the receipt which resulted in me calling like 5 times. Then planting the trees was done like half a$s job and left a big sinkhole. When called, they said they would send the crew out again, and never heard back from them. Here is the bottom line. They act like they are very nice and professional until you pull out your wallet and then they change their attitude. This is why I like to try out a store before doing a big job. And this is not the place to continue...
