I’ve debated writing this but have decided if this helps one person then it’s worth it. I went today for a laser appointment and was scolded at by Dr. Ayman El-Attar within two mins of my consultation. I’m very much an advocate of my health and like to ensure I understand what is about to be done so I asked questions where I was confused. I truly think I was given a treatment based on being a Groupon purchaser and not “private pay”. I was spoken down to, embarrassed and dismissed by him. I was shocked to experience an interaction with a highly regarded professional to this extent and I wish that no other woman should ever be made to feel inferior, just because they use their voice. The two women I met on staff there were very pleasant and accommodating. I hope he was just having a bad day and this isn’t common practice. Don't waste your time and money: -before a procedure they don't explain what are the steps a patient should take -you need to tell them what is it they are doing because they don't keep a record of the last visit -Dr. Ayman El-Attar has a negative attitude -before starting a procedure the doctor doesn't explain what are some of the discomfort a patient may feel (he may insult you if you are showing discomfort) -after a procedure before leaving the room the doctor doesn't explain what the patient should do -the utensils they use are super dirty
