Plenty of wide parking in this plaza. The food is very good with a lot of variety you expect from a Japanese restaurant. The specialty sushi selections lean towards "spicy" in their names so if you're not a spicy fan, there are less specialty sushi selections but still many other options overall. The rainbow roll with lobster tempura (~$17) was very good with the right amount of crunch in the center from the tempura. You don't get many so you would need to order something else with it if you are considering this as your meal unless you're just not that hungry or want something small. I got the tonkatsu ramen to go with it. The broth was flavorful, and although I'm not a corn fan, the kernels of corn in this soup didn't ruin the taste. The noodles were al dente and just right! Service is attentive and quick but militant. The establishment looks clean. Good for a casual meal. I would definitely order from them if I lived nearby or am in the area. You get a 10% discount if you pay via cash.

I was curious because another reviewer said that out of the 30 ramen places he went to in NJ, this was in the top 3. He’s right! I ordered the black garlic ramen, and it was delicious. Tender pork chasu and the broth wasn’t too salty. I also love that they included corn and bamboo. Very reasonable around $13. Some might want more than 2 pieces of pork, but I thought overall it was a good portion size. We also enjoyed the takoyaki and spicy girl roll (not spicy at all but had salmon, tuna, avocado with crunchy pieces). Service was attentive but not that friendly. Place was clean and decorated with many cool Lego sets! The only negative was the mango bubble tea. It didn’t taste like mango at all. Weird flavor. Save yourself and go to Gong Cha for high quality tea. But I do recommend the food at this place!

Very authentic Japanese food. You can find mostly Asian and among which many Japanese people eating there. Same food quality cost 50% more on Manhattan, based on my experience. I tried the Omakase and the grilled squid. I've definitely eaten better Omakase before, but those cost more than $100 whereas the one offered at Jo-Sho only cost $50. Overall a very good deal. They actually write the Japanese name (mostly in Kanji) of all the daily special stuff on a whiteboard, giving you more feeling of authenticity. The other appetizers and dinner sets look good too, and that's something I'll try next time.

This is the best quality, and affordable restaurant in Central Jersey. This place is the bomb dot com.

The sashimi is super fresh. They give you free sides for some dishes even for dinner menus. Mine came with salad, and soup.

I used to dislike their previous establishment because they don't serve ramen unless two people per table minimum gets ramen. Sakana, serves ramen if only one person orders per table.

They have variety of desserts including bubble tea! Portions are on the larger side for the price you pay for. Your food gets served to you on time.

They don't cut corners such as using old oil nor serving fake ice cream. In this complex, I went to an Indian bubble tea store next few stores over; they serve frozen dairy, which is icecream made of animal gelatin, whey, & artificial preservatives. Now, I can get bubble tea here which is $2 lower in price than the Indian bubble tea store! Thank goodness a restaurant in this community treats customers reasonably instead of trying...
