Visiting the Jain Temple of New Jersey was a deeply spiritual and humbling experience. The moment I stepped inside, I felt a profound sense of peace and sanctity that words can hardly capture. The temple stands as a magnificent symbol of our ancient Jain heritage — rooted in non-violence, truth, and compassion. The intricate architecture, the serene atmosphere, and the collective devotion of the community made me feel truly connected — not just to my faith, but to the larger purpose of life that Jainism teaches us: to live mindfully, selflessly, and with utmost respect for every living being. I am filled with gratitude to all the volunteers, donors, and spiritual leaders whose tireless efforts have made this temple a sacred space for generations to come. It is not just a place of worship, but a center of values, learning, and inner transformation. Jai Jinendra 🙏

Amazing place of worship!!! This franklin township derasar is managed by JCNJ. It is so pious that you will forget all your worries when you see main god "Munisuvrat Swami" dada. The derasar is large enough. I am a member of this Sangh and visit almost every week. We attend most of the events here. My both kids 11 years and 10 years have been attending pathshala and all major event here. I have been a member since 2012. I also attend adult pathshala here. I truly admire this place and words are not enough to describe. If you want to do Puja, you can take shower and change clothes for the same. Jai Jinendra!!!

The temple is a place to be for a relaxing spiritual place. If you enjoy to be in a place where there are a lot of people and a lot of fun activities going on then the temple is definitely for you and for your soul to feel in the best place that it has ever been in. The temple has a really good architecture and it has more of a pleasant feel to it. The temple has helped many young Jains of the world. The Franklin township temple is the best and the largest temple in the US.

🌸 A Spiritual Gem in New Jersey – Munisuvrat Swami Jain Temple If you're looking for a place that offers peace, spiritual reflection, and a beautiful sense of community, the Munisuvrat Swami Jain Temple in Franklin Township is a must-visit.

✨ Peaceful and Welcoming From the moment you step onto the temple grounds, there’s a sense of calm that washes over you. The space is thoughtfully designed for prayer and introspection, and everyone—whether a long-time devotee or a first-time visitor—is welcomed with warmth and respect.

🛕 Stunning Architecture The temple’s architecture is both traditional and elegant. With detailed carvings, marble interiors, and a serene layout, it’s a beautiful place to experience Jain art and culture. The idol of Munisuvrat Swami is incredibly peaceful to behold, and the presence of other revered Tirthankars adds to the spiritual atmosphere.

🕊️ A Hub for the Community This isn’t just a temple—it’s a vibrant community center. The temple frequently hosts religious festivals, Poojas, and educational sessions for kids and adults alike. It’s a place where families come together to stay connected to their roots and pass on values of compassion and non-violence.

🍽️ Great Facilities They also have facilities like a Bhojanshala (dining hall) and Dharamshala (accommodations), which are super helpful for out-of-town visitors. Everything is kept clean, organized, and respectful of Jain dietary practices.

❤️ Final Thoughts Whether you're Jain or just someone curious about Jain philosophy and culture, this temple is a calm and uplifting space worth visiting. It’s more than just a religious site—it’s a peaceful retreat right in the heart...

Stumbled upon the property on a walk as I attend the gym directly across the street. It was beautiful from the outside and seemed peaceful. I was dressed in gym clothes and was not sure of the rules and times of visiting the center, but figured a walk around the property to admire it and the nature around it would be fine, while also getting a nice peaceful, morning walk in. Was stopped just as I was rounding the center by somebody in their car and asked if I lived nearby. I answered that I went to the gym across the street. I was told that this is private property, I cannot walk around the grounds. I apologized that I thought I could just go for a walk on the outside perimeter and didn't think it would be an issue (it was quite early and literally about 4 cars in the giant parking). I was asked, "to please never come back here" with a very clear annoyance. I'm actually still not sure what I was doing wrong other than respectfully viewing the center from the perimeter of the parking lot? Interesting interaction and I guess I am not the type of person...
