We're renewing our wedding vows for our 25th anniversary in November 2026, which includes an engagement ring diamond upgrade and a pendant to house the diamond being replaced/upgraded. We want to thank the beautiful angels at Shane Co. who assisted us the other day.
Store manager Danielle, sales manager Bob, jewelry consultant Eileen, master jeweler Scott, senior customer service associates Taylor and Brenna, and jewelry consultant Kenley: Each of you is brilliant at what you do in serving the public and we are so grateful to you for your genuine kindness as you each graciously and expertly assisted us. Eileen, you came through with the perfect lab grown diamond upgrade for my ring and helped my hubby choose the pendant that truly suits the diamond he purchased three years ago (all within our strict budget). Scott, thank you for explaining how the new stone would sit in the ring setting and how the older one will be beautifully at home in the pendant. We're amazed by your craftsmanship. Many thanks! I canât praise and thank Shane Co. enough.
For our 21st wedding anniversary, my husband and I went to Shane Co. to replace my CZ with a real diamond. It took a long time to save up for it, but we finally did it! And it was well worth the wait.
From the moment we walked into the store, we felt at ease. Manager Kevin greeted us with a very genuine, warm smile and then sent Jacob over to help us find the perfect diamond for the engagement ring my husband designed for me 21 years ago. Kevin stayed in the loop from the beginning to the end of our jewelry journey and couldnât have made us feel any more welcome and important than he did. We really felt as though we mattered. Thank you, Kevin!
As for Jacob, he is a wonderful person who truly enjoys working with folks as they explore their options. His kindness and patience are unparalleled. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and truly understand what we were looking for. I explained that I would never replace my setting because itâs the one my husband proposed to me with; I wanted a diamond that felt at home in my setting. Not once did Jacob try to upsell us. After telling him what we wanted in terms of the 4Cs, Jacob presented several diamonds to choose from. After bouncing back and forth, repeatedly, I finally settled on the one I was initially drawn to. Jacob didnât rush me; he kindly guided me to the perfect diamond for me, encouraging me to make sure the diamond I chose was the one I truly loved. And when I returned to the store again to be sure I hadnât made a mistake, he chuckled and then brought out my stone and several others I hadnât seen before. I left that day knowing that the diamond I had chosen during our first visit to Shane Co. was meant for me. Thank you, Jacob!
Then thereâs Jamie, the jeweler who not only set my diamond expertly, but who rechanneled and resized my ring to my exact specifications. I was a nervous wreck about it, but he was so kind, understanding, and patient. When we got the ring back, my husband was amazed at how beautiful Jamieâs craftsmanship is. He loves the ring even more now than when he designed and gave it to me 21 years ago. Jamie also resized my wedding ring perfectly and redesigned another ring I had, transforming it into a beautiful pendant. Thank you, Jamie!
Then there are Jeannie (the gal who recommended I let Jamie turn the old ring I wasnât going to wear anymore into a pendant), Nicole (the gal who helped me decide to stay with six prongs on my engagement ring, for several reasons), and Menno, Kiara, Alyssa, Nancy, and Ali (who all provided exemplary customer service each time we picked up an item).    Read moreAfter hearing the radio ads for a while, I decided to take my wife to Shane Co. about a decade ago. I wanted to see firsthand their selection and see if the hype of a free lifetime warranty was real or if there was something that the ads did not tell me. And let me just say that I was hooked from our very first visit. The quality of their jewelry is second to none. Now, I no longer had to worry about the jewelry that I buy for my wife. Skip ahead to a couple of years ago when I took my wife in for yet another visit. That is when we met Jacob for the first time. He was young and very friendly. He was very knowledgeable about every piece that he showed us on that visit and was never pushy in any way at all. I say this because while I knew that their sales people are not paid on commission, but he never mentioned that and he worked with our budget and my wife left with another beautiful piece of fine jewelry. I am big on research and knowing as much as possible about things ahead of time. From that very first visit with Jacob, I knew that he was "our friend." In the last few months, we have been to the store a handful of times. The first being before Valentine's day 2023. I am not a guy who secretly picks out jewelry for my wife. I want her to get exactly what she wants. On this visit, my wife had a certain piece in mind that was coming up on Facebook. He showed us that piece and it was a no go from the start. Jacob had made a suggestion about a different style to go and while my wife didn't sound thrilled with his idea, she tried it anyway. He brought out several examples of that idea and wouldn't you know it that she loved it. But, there was one problem! They were in silver and her ears are very sensitive and she needed white gold. No worries! Jacob suggested that the jewelers could take out that stone and set it in white gold for her. She was thrilled. They would be ready for pick up the following week and we would visit the store again. Each and every time we go into the store, we are greeted by several employees who know us from our unique hair colors! They always make us feel welcomed into the store. We walk through the store until we see Jacob and when he see's us. We all just smile even though I know that my wallet is about to take another hit! On that visit, we were there to pick up the custom made earrings and before we left I asked Jacob about upgrading her center stone. After all, this year we will be married for 20 years and I had planned on doing this for months. She was very hesitant at first because we had looked at some diamonds on a previous visit. But, I had an ace up my sleeve and once again I had done my research. That was when I asked Jacob about lab grown diamonds. Science has figured out a way to reverse engineer the makeup of a diamond that has grown for millions of years and grow it in a lab in a matter of weeks and it is a fraction of the cost. It is a real diamond no different from any other diamond except these are in our budget. I knew that if Tom Shane himself had decided that they were of the highest quality enough to carry in his stores, that it was good enough for me. Jacob told us all about them. I told him my budget and he brought out 3 very beautiful diamonds. My wife's eyes lit up when she saw them! She couldn't believe how big they were! She couldn't believe how beautiful they were! I let her pick the one and a half caret diamond that was her favorite. She was awestruck with it. Jacob talked to the lab and they told us when her new diamond in her custom setting (that we had bough years ago from Shane Co.) would be ready for pickup. Jacob told us that he didn't work that day and that he wouldn't be at the store but he wanted to see it.    Read moreWe are Shane Co. customers for life!! Although we may not purchase things often, we will never go anywhere else. I have never had any experience there that was negative or bad in any way. Even the times when my husband and I just went in to browse and not buy (gotta give him gift ideas for later haha), the salespeople were fabulous, let us look at, hold, and try on multiple items never once acting like we weren't millionaires about to buy the whole place. The people that work there are efficient, polite, knowledgable, welcoming, and funny too! Last week on Tuesday I was online shopping for a wedding band to surprise my husband with for our anniversary, since he had already planned to bring me in that weekend to trade in my diamond studs for bigger ones. I figured it was time for him to get something really nice as well! I wanted to make sure that the ring would be there when we came in Saturday so that I could surprise him there with it. I had no trouble at all with the website, and found the perfect ring within 5 minutes of looking. I decided on the Damascus Steel wedding band 7mm, and went to check out. I was using my PayPal credit line to pay for the order and this is where all hell broke loose. For whatever reason, I could not get this payment to go through. I called PayPal first, and they were unable to tell me why it wasn't working, and then I did an online chat with Shane Co. and then called their customer service as well. No one could figure out what was going on, so I said since this is a new credit line, I will wait and try again tomorrow, Well the next day, I had the same issue, and called Shane Co. customer service again. I got on the line with Jason Shaw who was as confused as I was, but did some research on the case, ended up doing the order a different way on his end, and emailing me the invoice to pay that way. Jason was extremely nice, informative, and helpful. He assured me that there should be no issue, and if there was he would call me back and we could go from there. He also said that he was about 90% sure the ring would get there on time, but couldn't promise it for sure. He stated that he would try and work some magic between the store and delivery company to make it happen. Luckily the order and payment went through on the first try, and I was cheering when Jason called me back to confirm that everything went through on his end and I was good to go! On Friday Jason called me to let me know that everything was going well, and that I was on track to receive the ring on Saturday. Saturday morning I was surprised to receive an email from Jason letting me know that the ring would in fact be there and he had instructed. the team members at the store to look out for it and give me a call as soon as it arrived. I was completely BLOWN AWAY!!! by his professionalism and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure that my experience was positive and my surprised would be a success. I have never had a person at any company treat me like they would if it was them needing magic to happen.... Jason made my anniversary dreams come true and I am so thankful!!!! Saturday ended up being super insane, and we were running super late to get there on time before they closed for the day. My husband called the store, and spoke with a lovely lady named Ashley. She was the manager on duty, and she assured us that if we came in as close to closing as possible, they would make it happen. She pulled up our account while on the phone with him and pulled multiple sizes for us to choose from when we arrived. We went in made our selections and were right back out of there so they could leave for the day. My husband LOVED the ring and was so surprised! I of course love my earrings as well!
