Mattress Firm Franklin — Hotel in Franklin

I will never buy anything from Mattress Firm again. Thought that if I didn't like the mattress, I would be able to return it. Well, yes, I was able to return the mattress but not the Adjustable Base! The receipt also states that adjustable bases are not returnable. Great. So I decided to try a King but decided that it was simply too big for my room and that I preferred my Purple mattress, which is a queen. What was even worse, the sales associate told me that, while I couldn't return the base, I could exchange it for a Queen. Great! That would be perfect! So I'm happy thinking that I'm going to be able to return the mattress and get an adjustable base on a Queen size that I can use when my Purple mattress! Well, after thinking everything is going to work out, a couple hours later, the sales associate calls to tell me that I can't exchange the base after all, but that he has returned the mattress and they'll be pick it up next week. So basically, now I'm stuck with this way too big almost $2k adjustable base in my bedroom. I've got no where to put my little Queen size Purple mattress. I'm being charged an $850 restocking fee, just to top everything off. I spent over $6k in that store, thinking that if I wasn't happy, a big chain store like that would make everything right. I spent around $6600, I'm returning the mattress and I can't use the base because I only have a Queen size mattress and it's way too big for my small room. I'm getting less than half of what I spent back, around $3k. I'm stuck with this base in my room that's way too big and heavy for me to move so basically I no longer have a bed and I've lost about $3500. Yes, I should probably just say fine and keep the new mattress. But I'm just not going to do that. What a bunch of crooks! At least, I've learned my lesson. Being assured that if you don't like something, you've got 120 days to return it only to find out that you can only return half the purchase. I've lost my money and my bedroom because of this store. Great experience and sleep, after an exchange. I’m in sales personally and understand all the tricks. I am weary of the promises made by many. Our experience was absolutely great.

We worked with Jason Lopez at the Cool Springs mattress firm. He promised, if weren’t satisfied he’d swap the bed or do a refund. We bought a nice tempurpedic bed and slept horribly. It just wasn’t right the right one for us. We downgraded beds but stayed with tempurpedic and have had amazing sleep. When we went to swap the beds, Jason didn’t hassle us with an upsell. He informed us of the benefits but was very respectful in our decision to change. He got the credit applied to our account for the difference and stood beside the new pricing offered through a holiday special that happened after our purchase.

Again, I was concerned about MF after reading Reddit and some other things, but Jason absolutely stood by his word and gave us great service throughout the entire process. The delivery team and team to swap beds, were also very kind and did a great job. I’m not sure about the other MF reviews, but I can say Jason in cool springs, along with his team, fulfilled every commitment and did it the right way. I would work...

We purchased a new "big boy bed" for our three year old. We bought two "protect-a-bed" covers in case he had any accidents. As the sales folks informed us that if there was any leaks through the covers, Protect-a-bed will take care of it.

Long story short, the protector sheets failed. Even when we followed all the washing guidelines to the letter. The Protect-a-bed company was below sub-par when we tried to work with them. Finally got them to adhere to their guarantee and covered the cost of replacing the bed. Unfortunately, the bed model was no longer made and the new model was more expensive.

The Mattress Firm REALLY worked with us to make things right without ANY hassle. I would buy a bed through them again in a heart beat because they know what makes a company is taking care of their customers.

I gave them a "Good" rating on the quality because of the mattress covers they sell. Their beds are fantastic. Their employees know their stuff and are very friendly.
