Walgreens — Local services in Franklin

The website advertises walk in flu shots. I arrived at 4 and the pharmacy closes at 5. There was not another person in line or at the counter. I was the only one. I was refused service because “we don’t like to give flu shots in the last hour before closing, we’re swamped right now.” Uhm…when was the last time you went to an OPEN restaurant, business, etc that stops giving service an hour before close. Mind you it wasn’t 10 minutes before it was a FULL hour before close and this would’ve taken less than 5 minutes. I must have missed the memo that service is delivered not on the basis of the customer but on what is convenient for the staff. Who are currently on the clock getting paid to help customers. I will not be back to this location since who knows if service will be refused when the place is still open because it’s not convenient...

Despite living less than 5 minutes from this location I drive more than 10 minutes down the road to the Greendale location. The store staff is fine but the pharmacy has disappointed me time and time again. Between needing to call to have my prescription that had already been sent to the pharmacy by my physician to actually be filled, being out of stock on prescriptions and other items sold only by the pharmacy, and the icing on the cake is being treated poorly by the pharmacist and staff who overall lacks professionalism at times. Not all Walgreens pharmacies are equal this one has disappointed me for years before I gave up on it and traveled to...

3/28/18 - reducing my stars from 3 to 2. Entrusted the photo department with a FedEx pickup (they are an authorized FedEx shipping center). Two days later my package was still sitting there. I picked it up and took it to another FedEx shipping center where it was picked up by FedEx an hour later. 2017: Clean store, pleasant pharmacy staff. However, the pharmacy has trouble reading instructions. I get the same prescription every three months, and each time I order the prescription, I add a note reminding them that the order is for 90 days. But every time, they only fill it for 30 day, and I have to get it corrected....
