On Cloud Wine — Restaurant in Franklin

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I've ever had. There were 12 of us seated in a corner, trying to celebrate, enjoy our meals, and open presents within the 2-hour time frame we had together. Unfortunately, the room's acoustics were terrible—every sound echoed, making it hard to have a normal conversation without it carrying across the space.

There was also a comedian performing on stage, and one of the other patrons rudely told us to leave because we were "too loud." Maybe this was the wrong venue choice for us, but we weren’t aware that chatting and enjoying our meals during the show would be an issue. After all, it’s a wine bar, and we expected a more relaxed atmosphere. Despite this, the owner did nothing to address the situation or make us feel comfortable.

What a gem!! Went on a Thursday evening for wine, beer and charcuterie before dinner. A small little wine shop with a LARGE selection of wines. Love the set up as not only do they have tables for large parties but also booths and of course a great bar area. You can do tasting of wines or by the glass. We opted for a flight of red and a flight of white and one got a beer. The charcuterie plate was fabulous it had so many flavors and options that it paired perfectly with all of our wines that we tried. Nicole our server was great and friendly too. A highlight of the night was meeting Randy, the owner, who graciously sat with us and shared the inspiring story of how On Cloud came to be. His passion and authenticity made the visit feel personal and memorable. It’s not every day you get to connect with the heart behind the wine!
