Great Guide answered our myriad questions about the Texas Rangers, past and present. Nice selection for a small gift store. Exhibits that are there are interesting, everything is very well done. They are currently raising $15mil to build a museum to house their extensive collecting currently at Buckhorn Museum in San Angelo (next on our list!). Kid/dog friendly, great place for a picnic or to hold an event! 5star once museum is built!

A very interesting place with a huge variety of taxidermies and relics related to the old west and the Texas Rangers. Stop by and take a self guided tour if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed!

this place is awesome!! the historian was incredible as well. it is an experience and I felt it provided an authentic Texas experience which is hard to find since Texas is so metro and cosmopolitan!

Very disappointed our first time there. At 3:00 on Sunday, 1 gate was open & 1 was closed, but we went ahead & entered, figuring maybe they were just controlling the flow & amount of traffic in & out. Realized that was not the case when we were told to leave because they were closed, "That's why the gate was closed." "Not enough people." was the response I received when I mentioned the sign indicated they were open 'til 5. No plans to return unless & until the site is completed, as there isn't much to see. Hopefully they'll have their open & closed hours figured out a little...

This is a "wanna be" site, trying to compete with the official Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco. Except for the outdoor sculptures, there's really nothing here. If you really want to learn about the history of the Texas Rangers, warts and all, skip this place. Waco is a true Museum, with thousands of artifacts on display, detailing the history of the Rangers, including much of the bad. This "Heritage Center" only wants to glorify the Rangers, not tell their whole history. As a student of the Texas Rangers for many years, I have to say it's not...

Every Texan should go through this complex and walking tour.

It will be even better when they get the larger interactive building and displays done in a year or two.

Don't wait, go now and then go back to see the additional stuff later.

We should know about the history of one of the world's premier law enforcement agencies, our own Texas Rangers. They have been actively serving our peoples since before Texas separated from Mexico as an...
