Sutherlands #3118 — Local services in Fredericksburg

okay, we all know about the Freestyle Rocker Chair that ARE $65 at all the following: These are available on amazon, academy, Lowes, home depot, hibbett sports and last but not least, Sutherlands here in Fredericksburg, tx. Well, there is not any of the above in Fredericksburg except hibbett sports and Sutherlands. The price tag at sutherlands was $88.99. I spoke with a manager who said they would price match local stores. Hibbett Sports sells them for $65 like EVERYONE else. Hibbett sports was out of stock so I went back to sutherlands. I spoke with the manager who said he would not price match hibbett sports because they were sold out. (shouldnt matter) he said they would price match the local stores. TURNS out the price tag on the chair was wrong and the manager said they sell them for $110!!!!!!!!!!! when i asked why he was charging a $110 for the EXACT chair for that price when EVERYONE else sales it for $65. The manager said in a rude manner that HE WAS HERE TO MAKE MONEY!!! I strongly DISAGREE with his mentality to charge $45 more because he is trying to make a dollar. I will not be shopping here with a manager who would not even honor the price tag THAT THEY PUT ON!!! it was a $110 no matter what even though he said the would PRICE MATCH local stores. I went in the other day. Customer service was not good at all. Went looking for an employee and found one sitting talking and laughing with a couple of girls. Asked if they work there. The employee said I do and told him I needed help. Asked for outside outlet's. He said aile 7, which was wrong and then got on radio to call someone to help. The help never came, so I just walked out of there. Walmart down the road got my business and I was walking around looking for what I needed and an employee asked if I needed help. It was not his department but he walked me to the right department and the person to help me. That is great customer service. That was not what I got at...

I shop often for work at Sutherlands and my problem is not with the overall store but with the woman who answered the phone. I explained to her that the paint that I had just bought was darker than the color swatch. “We usually don’t take paint back once it’s purchased. Did he ask you if you were happy with the color?” I had told the guy who mixed the color that it was darker while I was there But that I guess it might work. When I got home and it dried the color sample had thoroughly dried it was way too dark. So no I was not happy with the color. It was a quart of paint for christ sake. I actually wanted to buy a gallon of the color corrected. Terrible...
