Dollar General — Local services in Freeland

Came here two weeks in a row. The first week, I go in the workers are all screaming they are leaving. Then we are in the isle, instead of coming an saying the register’s are down they are all screaming it, from the front of the store. I was looking for cat food. All the animal product’s were in giant bin’s in the isle. We walk to the front, Girl says registers are down. We leave. I go back a few days ago nothing on the shelves all the same stuff is in the isle. I looked through the bins I found the cat food myself. I go to the front the manager is like I’M closed! call’s someone actually doing something there, to come ring us out? That’s the second time same manager. Non- professional attitude toward people. Be aware that the store is taking advantage of customers. I have been noticing that prices on the shelve are price we see; and they charge you higher amounts at register. You question this and are told "we didn't have time to change those price tags". 3 weeks ago 3.00 roll of tape as advertised, I'm charged 8.50 and leave store w/o product. Last night on a whim, needed something quick and bought a frozen pizza, and was charged double. A bag of chicken tenders same issue- however my credit card was in the process of approving and they would would not let me cancel transaction. Dollar Store is ripping people off knowingly. Wide selection, friendly staff who are always willing and ready to help, clean floors and well kept shelves, quick and easy shopping, and they except EBT which is pretty cool, and helps a lot! I highly recommend this store. The only negative, and this is a small one, is that they aren't always restocked, it's kinda a hit or miss if you can get the thing you're going they're for, especially pet food/kitty litter.
