Got shrimp from this fella in my bucket, as i was pumping water out the canal to my livewell. While setting up our lines, the shrimp began to die slowly. Maybe had a total of 5 live kicking. We paid 24 bucks a qt. Went back inside and i asked the gentlemen how long have these shrimp been in your tanks? He said 30 minutes. They didnt look the healthiest. So i asked him to come look at my live well he said no. I then asked what are going to do to resolve the solution? Hes likes nothing. You bought what you paid for. Yeah, live shrimp not dead weights that sink to the bottom. Id have better luck with artificials.
This guy im speaking of, he is on the heavy side a little bit clean hair cut, black hair, didnt catch his name and has an attitiude of a school girl. He was a prick to his customers that just purchased 30 bucks of live shrimp turn into dead bait.
No we did no put our hands in the livewell/ bait bucket from store. Bucket and livewell gets rinised out immidiately with our fresh water tank. Clean with soap, rinse and rinse until all soap is gone and then we refill then release the water one more tine to make sure all soap is out.
This is a waste of your money. Save you a headache, Go to a better bait camp!
Will never be back and i see why his business has no customers! I was the only one on that bait...

A 3 gallon bucket and return to get bait. He again refused to sell me bait on the premises my bucket wasn't at least a five gallon bucket. in order to get live bait here you must at least have a 5 gallon bucket it has to be clean with a lid and a working aerator or he will not sell you live bait. This man was very rude to me and I will not be coming back here I'm a local and I'm going to spread the word as...
Read moreI asked for a pint of shrimp: 1. It was $10 which is almost 50% higher than the $7 all the other bait shops sell it for, 2. They can't take credit or debit cards because they didn't want to continue paying the merchant fees for the terminal, and 3. (Worst of all in my opinion) she said oh there's a couple crabs in there... like half of the pint was crabs. Literally scooped and got 3 shrimp and 3 crabs. Such an epic...
