Want to give a full picture because these prices for the work performed is completely unacceptable. First I have used this company for three years to do regular maintenance and have felt 350$ maintenance seemed normal. I then had them come to see why a zone wasn’t working the tech was here for 13 minutes 5 minutes at his truck 5 in the basement and 3 minutes talking to me before pulling out of my driveway …. The quote was astounding 190$ for a 5 minute diagnostic which they never said there was a charge for before showing up … first unprofessional move…. I then received the quote to do the job not 20 min later a fast turnaround I was shocked … not nearly as shocked as when I opened the quote 883$. For one single zone valve to be installed and wired…. This was insane in my mind especially after looking up parts and calling another 2 plumbers to see roughly where they got there pricing .. so I did as any other reasonable person would and called cavicchi immediately asking for a tech to review pricing so I better understood the charges… was told I would be called back … took 2-3 days for a callback, after extremely calmly reviewing my problems and issues with the bill was once again told I would be called back again. This time they havnt returned my call . I have since had the job done by someone else. They spent 4 hours at my house …… 30 minutes draining and replacing that zone valve and performing a diagnostic to make sure everything worked properly “this other company” then spent 3 and a half more hours tracing pipes replacing fittings and truly teaching me how my system worked and what was gonna need replacing soon…. I feel like I was treated extremely unfairly and don’t recommend this...
Read moreUpdated: Texted with a confirmatio and sent me picture of the service representative to expect very professional and easy to work with still waiting on price for main board but they verified with Mitsubishi which I was able to hear conversation very transparent which makes credibility Don't have a price which I will get before it is ordered
update from customer: note the stars went down; The board main board was replaced 2 months ago and there is a 2nd board that needs replacing and I have no idea what happened to the rebate Cavicchi received from Mitsubishi and we have been all summer without AC waiting for Cavicchi to get get to us on the smaller 2nd board, the price and the cost which was $1,400 for just the service call not the almost $500 for the main board.
begs the question do both boards normally go at the same time, should I have been made aware of a 2nd board that may also need replacement and is it another $1,400 to have them replace it? I have been really upset about this, so maybe my inquiries are dismissed as old inquiries regarding main board, but with summer gone, I would like to get this over and done with, and there is almost $500 owed me, which when Cavacchi received reimbursement I would be get my money back, since I was retired to pay all...

They have good reviews but I want you to know you could end up like me…displeased. 1st time using them. Was recommended. My furnace was leaking water. They came, cleaned the furnace, said they “blew out” the duct (whatever) and condenser pump was working. Later that day, still leaking. Called, said tech will call me. No call back next day, again called them. Asked to speak to owner Cory. Again no call. You would think owner would want to follow up on complaint from a new customer. Website says Pride in work and integrity……NOT !!!! Side note is that furnace did not even looked cleaned. A neighbor opened up the panel and was dirty with dust. Advice—TAKE YOUR CHANCE WITH THIS COMPANY!
