This was my first time ordering sushi from this restaurant. And I will definitely say it Will also be my last. I am an avid sushi eater and know a decent amount about how roles should be prepared ect. For starters, my “crunchy” vegetable spring rolls were completely soggy, and they were placed on a wilted leaf of Romain lettuce. (Photos to follow to demonstrate how soggy this “Alleged food” was). Also, my salmon/vegetable sushi rolls were barely rolled. You can tell it was either rushed or done with ill experience. You should be able to pick up a sushi roll with chopsticks or your fingers without the contents within completely falling apart. And also, when I picked up the food originally, my hot contents were placed with in the same bag as my cold contents, when they should’ve been placed in a separate bag. The moment Sushi is prepared, the integrity of the fish begin to deteriorate within minutes, that’s why it’s meant to be kept chilled or eaten immediately after. Not stored with hot food.. This also poses increased chances of foodborne illness. Not happy! If you don’t eat sushi often, or know much about the art of hand crafted rolls you might find it okay. I found it subpar at best. Also, just know- this is more of a walk-in/takeout kind of restaurant. Not really meant for...
Read moreShanyoma Sushi is hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had—better than anything I’ve tried in high-end spots while living in Miami. The quality, freshness, and creativity of their sushi are unmatched. Every bite is packed with flavor, and you can tell they put care into every roll they make.
I crave their sushi every single day. Whether it’s their perfectly balanced specialty rolls, melt-in-your-mouth sashimi, or their unique sauces that elevate every bite, everything is absolutely top-tier. The staff is always welcoming, and the atmosphere makes the experience even better.
If you love sushi, do yourself a favor and try Shanyoma Sushi. It’s a hidden gem that outshines even the fanciest sushi spots. Five stars...
Read moreSouth Coast’s favorite realtor here with another food review. I was down this way showing a home to a buyer and decided to stop here. I made the right choice. I got the salmon poke bowl, shrimp tempura app, and a mango milk tea, and let me just say, it was absolutely phenomenal. Also, I have to say that the staff here is some of the friendliest people I have ever come across in a small restaurant. These folks know what matters. The kitchen looks spotless as well and the food is as so fresh I found myself feeling like I was at a 5 star Boston restaurant. Do yourself a favor and come eat here. Oh and if you need to buy or sell a home in Massachusetts, you know where...
