I recently visited Profile Tavern and had an absolutely amazing time! This small town restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way possible.
First of all, the ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The place was buzzing with energy on a Tuesday night, and the bar area was packed with lively patrons. It felt like a vibrant hub of activity.
One thing that immediately caught my attention was the spaciousness of the tables. It's a great spot for families, as there was plenty of room for a party of four. The comfort and convenience were definitely appreciated.
Let's talk about the cocktails: they were weirdly wonderful! I decided to try their peanut butter old fashioned, and I must say, it was a delightful surprise. The mix of flavors was spot on, and it tasted great. The experimental nature of their cocktails made the experience all the more exciting.
Moving on to the appetizers, they were simply fantastic. We ordered the poutine with fried chicken added, and wow, it was MASSIVE! This dish was clearly meant to satisfy a hungry family rather than just two people. The combination of crispy tater-tots, rich gravy, and perfectly cooked fried chicken was a match made in heaven.
When it came to the entrees, Profile Tavern truly impressed. Their menu offers a blend of experimental and classic dishes. We opted for the chicken parmesan and the mozambique pizza. The mozambique pizza was surprisingly delicious, topped with crispy fries that added a unique twist. As for the chicken parmesan, it was gigantic and came with just the right amount of linguine underneath. The portion was so generous that I enjoyed the leftovers for lunch over the next two days. Talk about getting your money's worth!
I can't praise the wait staff enough. They were friendly, attentive, and incredibly prompt. I remember finishing my drink, and within seconds, I was asked if I wanted a refill. Their exceptional service truly enhanced the overall experience.
I highly recommend Profile Tavern to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to visit again and explore more of their intriguing menu offerings. Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreThe first time I got take out here I would give it a 3 star it was plain and just okay, so I went to dine in next and I would have given 4 star it was much better then I expected food and drinks were good, not great but better then the take out. My service was just ok. I got take out again and I would give it another 3 star, so in my head I was only going to dine in once in awhile. Well last night (Saturday aug. 3rd) by the time I got out of work, did errands, etc it was 8 pm and I was tired so we did take out and ordered 100$ worth as I just was giving the benefit of the doubt and there the only local and closest Resturant. Well the food I would give 0 star but you have to put 1 down, the Resturant wasn’t even busy and there open till 10 so not like the kitchen should have been rushing. The pizza was so thick with cheese, I always get extra where ever we go but this was just wild like a brick. All the salads tasted like they have been sat out for hours. My shrimp (I attached pics) were not grilled there literally raw!!!! And hard! and no seasoning. The pub dip sandwich was just pathetic looking and didn’t taste good. And what I was most upset about; I was excited for French onion soup since I have been craving it and what’s the best part? The cheese/bread that goes on top but alas I got nothing. Just the soup which I would give that flavor a 3 star but come on we pay all this money 100$ in take out with leaving a few buck tip and it’s all in the trash. I was so upset last night but by the time I was going to call it was past 10pm. The onion rings were okay at least. I honestly probably will never get take out again, I’ve tried and give up with that. Would I dine in again, maybe? If it’s late and I don’t want to drive out of town. I miss...
Read moreMy husband and I went a week ago and sat at the bar. We both got surf and turfs. He got the 22oz. prime rib with the baked stuffed shrimp and I got the surf and turf with the prime rib and baked stuffed fish. Had a drink and bartender was a blonde older lady but very nice and friendly. Enjoyed our Friday night. So we decided to go tonight on a Thursday. We walk in and the girl at the door totally ignore my husband and takes care of some young kid that walks in after us. So then we sit down. The waitress takes our order. My husband says he wants the surf and turf but he wants the 22oz. Prime rib with the stuffed fish. She then takes my order and I get the surf and turf with the smaller prime rib with the stuffed fish, and corn. So the waitress comes back and says you can't have the larger prime rib with the surf and turf. We had got it the week before but with the stuffed shrimp. So if it was such a big difference in price from the stuffed fish to the stuffed shrimp for the size of the steak, wouldn't you think the waitress would have tried to make things right for the customers she was waiting on. Then I got my food and I didn't even get prime rib and they told me they ran out of corn. Horrible night!! Will Never go back!!!! To top off the rest of it. The manager came over to us 15 -20 minutes later to find out what the problem was. I have been in the food industry and I know I would of been over to see if I could make people happy. Then to charge him for his drink while he sat as my food they put in front of me that was...
