Prairie Market — Local services in Fremont

Prairie market a nice small town butcher that has odds and ends when you're stopping in .

They have a small but good selection of soft drinks, they have wine as well as cold beer .

They also have items such as butter, eggs and I think once or twice I've seen milk in there .

They have a fresh deli counter which has all sorts of salads and desserts, cheeses and deli meats .

My husband likes to stop in and get the smoked bacon and I always find myself stopping in for their sandwich spread and either a hot dog or hamburger buns .

They have a wonderful freezer selection with frozen soups, broths and chili as well as barbecued beef, meatloaf and various meats and sausages . Sausages .

Full service butcher, fresh and Frozen cuts steak and they have their own proprietary beef jerky/ meat stick that we like to get from time to time .

They have specials for people that come in. I believe it's a sandwich, like a submarine sandwich with your choice of meat and cheese and then you can get. I believe a bag of chips and a drink selection .

They also have other odds and ends like potato chips, popcorn, Saran wrap, pickles and relishes, sauces, and a few other things that would surprise you .

Overall, if you live in Fremont, make sure that you stop in and patronize our local butcher.

You will be surprised at the quality and friendliness of the staff, they also have. I believe at different times butcher packages put together with different steaks and cuts of meat and beef that you can get a hold of in a more bulk package.

Update January 2023, The quality of the meat can't be beat. The costs of anything they sell, can't be beat. The owners are so friendly and helpful. They don’t rush me and they'll take care of any questions I have. I picked up about 130.00 worth of meat today, it would've been at least 320.00 at the big store. 😅 I'm sure thankful that they're always looking out for families. Affordable prices with excellent quality 👌

My husband and I have been going consistently to Prairie Market since around January 2022. They carry excellent meat and they also have a grocery selection, with many different wines. I was able to get a huge box of assorted meat for less than $180.00. If I would have gone to the big box stores, the cost would have been at least 3 times that.

The quality of the product's amazes me. When I wasn't sure how to ask for the different meat's, they were very helpful and took the time to explain what each cut is, and how to cook it. These guys know how to run their Market, and they always put the customer first. Hand's down the...
