J's Hallmark Shop — Local services in Frisco

Great friendly helpful staff! But on Sunday 15th Nov, I was really sad to have noticed that the Christmas card section ( The most important card section at this time of the year ) having rows and rows of empty shelves. I am big Hallmark fan and would call my self a loyal customer. I noticed a massive stack of cardboard boxes marked as ' Christmas ' in a corner and the display racks screaming empty with a few isolated cards here and there. I was there to buy specific designs of cards with music and motion. and Also to buy a handful of those expensive Keepsake ornaments so I can ship them out early to my family members via post. The sweet store lady tried to help me with the designs I wanted and even showed me that they have stocks but they are under the flippers still or still in the boxed that they came in .. so not yet on the display.... :( The store was beautifully stocked with the ornaments but the Christmas cards section was really disappointing the brand name. ( the general card section was super well stocked ). You guys! Come on- looks like you have the products but they are not available for the customers to pick up off the shelves! I drove far to get this to this store since it was the closest ' Hallmark Crown" store instead of going to the Walmarts, Cvs, Walgreens which are nearby having a massive selection. It is only at the the Crown stores we can utilize Hallmark membership benefits and & add purchase points ...since I was going to buy many cards. I later went to a Walmart and ended up buying all the hallmark cards I needed. Please please step up to the mark - don't let down the Hallmark brand . You can...

So I just got back from Hallmark because my boyfriend and I wanted to see their ornament collection and just check out what Christmas stuff they had. We were looking for specific things..Nordic Christmas type stuff. So we browsed the store fairly quickly to see what they had, easy to do since it isnt a large atore. Upon entering we were greeted which was nice; however as we made our way to the back again the same woman who greeted us asked "can I help you find anything". We politely answered no thank you. I mean it's a small store and we didn't look lost. We proceeded to make our way to the front where the ornaments were and began looking at them when we were approached again, "can I help you find anything". We then just left feeling like the employees thought we were going to steal something. We know we don't look like your typical Hallmark customer... I mean I walked in with a tie dyed shirt and my boyfriend has semi long hair and a beard. But we both felt this way and it made us feel really uncomfortable. In college and high school I worked retail so they taught us how to go after potential thieves with constantly giving customer service...this felt the same way. I really hope this was not the case and Hallmark wasn't judging us based on...

I love Hallmark. And I went to this 1 specifically looking for 2items. They not only had them,they were on SALE! WIN-WIN. In fact I found so many things in their sale section(I volunteer w/a non profit)I was blissfully able to find Christmas gifts for many many of my clients. This was in Oct But for nonprofit you always LOOK AHEAD. Anyway, I think I spent $300+,found SO MANY WONDERFUL ITEMS THAT BECAME CHRISTMAS GIFTS for our clients &theirs children And the staff WAS FABULOUS. they never complained about having to ring it up or that I was purchasing so many items. This store is a 15on a scale of 1-10. Thanks to all that...
