I worked more than three years at Kroger store 561 in Frisco Texas, 12221 Custer Road, Frisco, Texas 75035. Since mothers day 2024 there has been documented correspondence to the store manager about the situation in the dairy department. People leaving dairy product on the floor for hours-not temped properly-to make their jobs easier. The overnight team a Hispanic male and female do this every night. At the beginning of their shift they pull the majority of the dairy freight to floor and leave it sit out. Sometimes if Ronaldo, the grocery manager walks by about 1am they will start to put it away. They do work but according to the "Kroger Feed" they should only have freight out for 30 minutes. They leave pallets of milk cartons sit on the floor while they stock cheese or aisle 30. Then they stock the milk from the front not ensuring product rotation. They have more seniority than I do. I have asked to have our roles switched so I stock dairy and they stock toilet paper. Nothing happens. On 9/24/24 The dairy tards(too long) left cases of small chocolate milk and Coffee mate Kahula out on floor from sometime around 11pm until 4am when I left. The chocolate milk was on a green cart and warm to the touch. About five cases of Coffemate Kahula remained sitting behind a display. They had a larger case of chocolate milk that was full on the shelf. It never needed to leave the cooler. It's sick to watch. These people don't give a about the health of me or anyone else who buys that. On 9/27/24 I noticed the case of chocolate milk on a backstock cart they left sit out for more than four hours on Monday/Tuesday.The dairy tards only had one pallet to work. This case of vanilla coffemate sat on the floor for over an hour after they stocked like two. People buy the French vanilla. The Lactaid box didnāt seem to have any product in it. So it had been out like an hour and a half and I chased Ronaldo down and asked him why the vanilla creamer had to sit on the floor. When I left at end of shift the female tard was pushing it around in a shopping cart but it had not entered the dairy cooler. Is there a problem with the Horizon cows because they ain't giving us no milk. On Friday 9/28/24 I was suspended pending an investigation with the suggestion of termination because I supposedly talked poorly about my coworkers. Occasionally the dairy tards will pretend to follow cold chain for a few weeks then they will go right back to leaving product sit out for hours before and after the store closes. I was then sent a termination letter two day FedEx to a previous address. I drove past their HR office six times in between. They never asked me to stop. Honestly, I donāt even know what they are talking about simply a waste of company money. I asked this Health guy just send me to any store I need a paycheck. Itās ok to make people sick give them farts and diarrhea but when someone blows the whistle my my my. When I started working for Kroger I was living in my car. Thankfully for the past year I have not had to do that. But itās ok for Kroger not to value my time, not retain me, get a COVID shot to avoid termination⦠Watch your paychecks as the time clock doesnāt always record your time. Especially around time changes and holidays. I was told this was because of a woman in Ohio but Iāve been to Cinncinnati. If you're white someone might spread rumors that you don't do anything. If you move fast people will think you are working. ...

Poorly managed... Understaffed and still cutting hours.
You come in and grab what you need, but getting to checkout, there are 2 massive lines at the self checkout next to the door, with the other self checkout closed and one staffed lane open, also with a line.
And any time I'm here I see managers harassing employees about hour cuts while they're trying to defend themselves saying they stayed late to finish something, since they've been reprimanded for not completing it beforehand. Stuff can't get completed, im sure, because they take employees who I see work in one area and throw them to work over in curbside pickup.
You don't have enough employees to open the other self checkout or another lane, and you're still cutting hours, and throwing employees somewhere else? All they want in this company is 1 person doing the jobs of 3 other people, because it saves them money. All I ever hear is employees desperately trying to find a better job, or going to school purely because retail broke them.
Front desk will have a line full of morons asking the poor girl up there stupid questions and wasting her time, and at worst, cussing her out, insulting her and harassing her because store policy won't let her do certain things, which is fair, but these people are so entitled and won't take no for an answer, so they hold up the line to cuss some girl out for doing her job by the book. Or the foreigners who want to constantly make returns of flowers they bought a few days, or, and I swear this is real, an Indian man who wanted to return a cake he bought in early December, and, if I heard correctly, December 7th, and it's mid-January. The cake was all gone. He just had the box and no receipt.
The Starbucks employees are pretty burnt out and I regularly have to stand behind people who absolutely cannot make up their mind, are completely customizing their drink to where it isnt even recognizable, or the employee is constantly getting interrupted by people who can't figure basic stuff out on their own, like finding straws, when they are simply to the left, or the restrooms, which are in the corner. The baristas are fantastic people if you just talk to them, they thrive off of kindness and conversation, that people just seem to toss aside because they want their sugary beverage with 10 modifications, then proceed to get into their little side space to stare at the employee and make them uncomfortable. Not to mention that almost every day there's a man that gets dropped off here every day coughing, hacking, and occasionally coming up to the Starbucks to ask them unusual and downright personal questions, and he sits there for hours.
Deli is fine, they have pretty good stuff and the cheese is top notch, the sandwiches they make are great, the sushi is pretty dang good for a supermarket, and boars head is pretty good, despite the listeria thing I heard about, which really cleared them out and they didn't have much.
Pharmacy is helpful, I don't typically head in for prescriptions, but anytime I've needed something from behind the counter,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell I've been here for a few months now, Kroger is till easiest and best grocery store to go to for me, but man they need some better consistency with customer service.
You can read my previous review, I bumped them up a star because probably 90% of the time everyone there is very friendly, even the stockers will say "Hello" and offer help if you need it.
My latest issues are with the Deli. I like this type of Italian cold cut called Coppa or Capicola, I got it all the time at central market. It's sliced paper thin, has a salty flavor, melts in your mouth, and can be served on Italian bread or eaten with cheese and crackers. The key here is "Sliced PAPER THIN". If it's not paper thin, it ends up chewy and almost impossible to eat. It takes a lot of time, because they have to slice it a little slower to prevent it from shredding up, and the fact that each slice is a fraction of an ounce, getting to a 1/2 pound takes a while.
Central market was happy to do it. Kroger is apparently not so happy to do it. First time I got it, I asked them to slice it as thin as possible, it was too thick. Next time I went I asked them to slice it paper thin, the guy there was all exasperated and said "It's gonna shred up if I do that." I said it was OK if it shredded a little, but he still cut it too thick! So I knew at that point that it was possible to slice thinner, he just didn't feel like it. I just left it in a refrigerated display and didn't pay for it. Third time, same thing, cut it thick again! Again I didn't pay for it. Finally on the fourth time I insisted, very clearly & politely, on paper thin, slowly cut. The girl was very annoyed and short with me, she did finally get it paper thin, but rushed through it as fast as she could, slinging shards of meat everywhere. Of course it was very badly shredded to the point where it all stuck together in a large chunk.
Pretty much gave up trying to get it from the Kroger deli at this point. Central market does it no problem no complaint. Maybe they're trained on it better since they have a lot of exotic meats? Maybe, but my feeling is that if you sell it, you should be able to slice it properly!
Maybe I'm too picky, especially since 90% of the time, everyone is great at this Kroger. But I shouldn't have to put up with that 10% of rude service & lack of willingness to slice my expensive cold cuts properly! To management: either train your people on how to slice Coppa, Prosciutto, & other cured meats properly, or don't...
