I asked the Drive-thru attendant if they had any fish made up...she stated, "Yes". So I ordered a 3 piece fish dinner for me and chicken for my 10-year-old. Then drove around to the pick-up window. After waiting 10 minutes, the attendant told me they only had one piece of fish and it would be an additional 10-minute wait for the other two pieces. She asked did I want my money back. I said, "Yes, So it took you 10 minutes to tell me there was no fish?" She said "Yes"...and just gave me this blank stare. Then she said, "Would you like a refund?". I said, "Yes". She handed me a refund slip for the entire order. I said, "What about the chicken?" She said, "You still want the chicken?". By this time I was really irritated as most people might be. So I said, "Yes I want the chicken and I shouldn't have to pay for it at this point. I wanna talk to your manager." She closed the window.
10 minutes later, a gentleman came to the window and said, "Can I help you?". ...as if he didn't know what was happening. This gentleman claimed to be the manager but acted like a high school dropout street brawler. He called me "buddy" when he said the fish was made to order. That I got my refund, what else do I want? I told him I wouldn't have ordered the fish if the attendant would've told me there was none made up, I would've ordered Chicken instead. Then he said if you want the chicken you ordered you'll have to pay for it. I told him he doesn't act like a manager. He then told me he was the owner. …I just drove off. Can you imagine his competitors acting like this?
If you are reading this review Mr. Manager/Owner, I'm not your "buddy".

Read morePlease do not eat here. I placed a to-go order and brought it home to find halfway through my family's meal that one of the chicken tender meals had an already half-eaten roll in it. I called and spoke with a manager who offered to exchange the half-eaten roll for a fresh one. I declined and asked for a refund as that's just disgusting. The manager advised me to bring the meal back as they need to have the food in hand in order to provide a refund. I drove back with the food only for both managers to decline to provide a refund due to the fact that the food was already eaten. Why did they tell me to bring the food back for a refund after I had clearly stated that after I began eating the food, I discovered the half-eaten roll? Why is it that the only thing the managers can say is that "we don't send our food out that way?" I mean, I might be in the minority here, but I would HOPE that no dining establishment sends out half-eaten food. After much arguing, one of the managers refunded $3 on a $7 meal. Fine, whatever - at the cost of a 4-piece chicken tender meal, Chicken Express lost my family's business forever. It's often said that it's not even about the money and never has that been more true than in this case. $7 is not worth wasting my time to drive back; it's about making a disgusting situation right. I would give zero...
Read moreA good meal overall. The speed for lunch is great. The service with a smile is also a big plus. The problem with the speed is the lower quality of the food today. Everything seemed to have sat a while. I got tenders and corn nuggets. Usually the nuggets are great. Today they had been sitting long enough to be just like warm and were ok but sub par for chicken express. The chicken was good but both it and the gravy were just warm nothing hot. Fried stuff is just better hot. The dinning room doesn’t have anyone cleaning it in the hour that we were there and I had to clean my own table and saw everyone else doing the same. The last thing was no WiFi. Wanted to just on the computer and do a couple of things for work and I had to break out the hot spot. Not a crazy expensive service to have and I think even old school places like this could get a little bit out of offering normal technology for the times. Overall the 4 star to me means a good place to eat but I am not going out of my way...
