I brought my daughter and her friend to do some painting this weekend and was pleasantly surprised by The Painted Teacup.
So many awesome things to say about the decor of this place! At the entrance of the store there is a colorful bike adorned with flowers that really draws the eye in. The window is decorated with hanging paint brushes and teacups, I absolutely loved the idea!
There are several photo moments, one being paint falling from the sky and an umbrella that you can take the picture underneath. So inventive! The other is a photo op of a jail lineup where you can hold your sign with all the fun painted tea cup info.
There were beautiful blue chairs for a sitting moment to the side and two fabulous Frida chairs flanking a table in the back. I found myself finding something interesting to look everywhere I looked, including a Bob Ross bobblehead at the register. Very well laid out and fabulously designed.
I did think that the pottery selections were a bit overpriced compared to the other pottery painting places I have been to, but they did have some fun things to pick from. I painted a large coffee mug, my daughter painted a vase and her friend painted a plate.
The amount of paint that they give you is pretty miniscule, I found myself multiple times needing a refill and the workers wanted to handle that themselves. They were very friendly and helpful but multiple times they were nowhere to be found and I was just sitting there waiting. One worker was sitting and painting with her mom and walking around painting something in her hand, so had her hands full.
It was a beautiful spot and definitely a fun area with boba tea and restaurants right next door so you can make a fun day of it.
There was no studio fee and the items will be glazed and fired, ready to pick up in a week.
I will definitely be back with some girlfriends to paint in the...
Read moreThe Painted Teacup is a fantastic, family-friendly paint-your-own pottery studio that's perfect for a fun outing or a special occasion. We recently celebrated our child's birthday here, and it was a huge hit with everyone. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They were especially wonderful with the younger children in our group, patiently guiding them through the painting process. What impressed me most was their ability to offer creative suggestions and help the kids develop their own artistic ideas. They were also readily available to lend a hand with tricky techniques or just provide extra paint and brushes. The atmosphere was relaxed and encouraging, making it a stress-free and enjoyable experience for both kids and adults. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Painted Teacup and are eagerly anticipating picking up our finished masterpieces â that will serve as lasting memories of a wonderful...
Read moreWe had the BEST experience here for my daughterâs birthday party. She wanted an art party, and after looking into several places in the area, I found The Painted Teacup. Every child painted their own pottery character that they get to choose, then keep after glazing. The booking process was super easy for this busy working mom and the price was reasonable for everything they offer. I wasnât expecting so many staff to be there to help, which was a great surprise. They helped setup, greeted the guests, explained the process to each child, guided the party at each step, and helped us pack up in no time. I loved all of the little touches they have with decor and the super cute paint palettes that add an elegant touch. The kids had such a great time and the experience surpassed my expectations! I highly recommend this for birthday parties or even a fun friend or work...
