Winn-Dixie — Local services in Fruit Cove

Y'all need a better more respectful daytime manager, I'm sorry but I spend my hard earned money in this store like everyone else does, but never fails if something goes wrong and lawd forgive me, but she always acts like it's because of someone else's problem, like the cashier, or another department, and sometimes she blames the customer!! On this particular day it was her, YES!! Because she would had been rather talking to a lady that was working at the Customer service Area about the coming weekend then to keep the service desk moving, so I went to register 3 or 4, I believe, anyway she came over because something didn't ring up correctly, she proceeded to try and correct, then I said it still isn't right.. she was called back over, now frustration is all over her face and proceeded to tell me the price is correct and y'all's system didn't update it yet, and asked if I still wanted it, I replied yes, but same price your advertising it for in the new ad. She told me that the ad is wrong and she can't fix it right now, claim to be to busy, and by now I've spent over 2 hours in your store shopping, it's the 2nd line I had to move to, and my bill so far is $562.14. Well needless to say she didn't have time for me, and it never came off my bill after I was done 821, and some change, well the cashier called her back, the manager said I can't fix it right now, so I said, well this is wrong, and said no this isn't right, and instead of fixing the issue MGMT said clear it out and take care of the next customer. I had been a customer for over 45 + years and that was my absolute worst, but last time that I let your staff treat me so rude. I was furious with that manager, she was very unprofessional and pubix now has my business, but this was wrong, and still planning a follow up with cooperate. I just believe someone...

My daughter and I bought some ground chuck that's on sale Wednesday and we came and made hamburgers and as we were eating my daughter's hamburger must have had a piece of bone in it cause when she swallowed her food a piece of bone got stuck on the side of her tonsils we could see it but couldn't take it out she was crying cause she couldn't swallow and it was hurting her, we did our best trying to get it but it was too far back, so we headed to the hospital but first decided to stop at the fire department here in middleburg to see if they could pull it out, well they tried and thank God they finally were able to get it, we give great thank you's to the fire department, after that we stopped at Winn Dixie to let them know what happen and so they could pull that ground chuck off there racks since that ground chuck have bones in it, they asked her to fill out a report she did, but what gets to all of us is that Winn Dixie manager up to this date has NOT even called her to see how she was doing, I think that's so low of them. My daughter's name is Phoebe Ward. And we showed them the bone too, even the fire department told us to go show it to Winn Dixie, they wanted to keep it but my daughter's husband said no that we were gonna keep it they did take a picture of it. We don't think we will be buying meats from that...

Not a good as it should be, I've been living and shopping here for 30 yrs and I couldn't tell you anyone's name. WD should be the neighborhood go to for 1 stop shop for news and everything you need to know what's happening in the burg. Use to be that way.😭 Sorry but WD I miss. BEEF IT'S WHAT'S FOR DINNER. SE Grocers I don't . They look and taste cheap but like I said higher priced than the other grocery store here. Thus I go to the other or 1 of the dollar markets.I hope this does hurt se, they shouldn't come to a small town that's already established and do its town people this way. They are robbing us of what we moved out here to start with, no crime, and we would have money for our children and ourselves. How's this possible if each time a big Corp sees a town like ours booming with people and thriving in it that they can move out the local and rob us of our savings to provide food and basics for our family. Unless we leave family and work extra hours then they rob us of our main goal. "Quality Family" being able to raise them ourself not the other kids and the streets. Enough...
