This is such a nice, small shop. I went today (July 16, 2022) to the independent location in Rainbow City, AL. While the layout is a little odd, it can't really be helped, and once you get around that its a beautiful and neatly organized shop. They have a ramp outside for those needing that accessibility but that does feel a little crowded, and so does the hallway that leads to the back room which holds the shirts and some candles. Be mindful, I don't think a wheelchair would bode well in this store. Moving on, not only do they sell quality crystals, in addition to tarot, books, candles, herbs, and more, but they also have a tidy environment and it smells great while not being overpowering. I'm not sure if there's an available restroom for customers, there weren't any signs I saw clearly pointing one out. They utilize clear, readable labels on the crystals (which is what I went there to purchase) along with small descriptions of each crystal. They also gave me some small cards to take with me at checkout (for free! I didn't even have to ask!) that describe the crystal and name and they fit well inside the small pouches my purchased crystals were put in. I got six crystals, and so far I'm very happy with them. I also love that they openly support the LGBT+ community in their store and product. That's so refreshing. They are also LGBT+ owned! So rare to see in Alabama. My main concern is that the lovely person at the counter had their hand somewhat wrapped because it was healing from poison ivy (I asked). I wish them a speedy recovery, but it seems unsafe to have someone healing from poison ivy handling product. My wife was highly excited hearing of all the positive talk of this small metaphysical shop in Rainbow City, AL. We made a stop by just a few days ago. The parking lot isn’t ideal; you may just scrape up your car, however being careful should lend you good luck. I loved the parking signs out front pertaining to karma. I got a good laugh out of those. Upon entering the zen environment, we were not greeted as we walked into the shop. At first I thought the workers were in the back, until I saw a young girl who was on her phone keeping to herself. I don’t know anything about gemstones, and my wife doesn’t know too much about them either. She was more interested in the handmade jewelry. There were some things she wanted to know the prices of, and we didn’t exactly get an answer.. more of an estimate. My wife had asked about some of the tumbled gemstones and small items about what they were, where they come from, and what they were good for. The girl seemed obliviously uninterested in helping us. This really hindered our first experience here. We just had to make do with the labeled items that contained descriptions. We actually left with a small bag full of things. I witnessed others come into the shop to not be greeted or any kind of offer for help. Other reviews I have seen have said that the owners are sweet and amazing. i’m not sure if we are talking about the same ones here. I found this store when it was a little kiosk in the Gadsden Mall and followed them to their new location in Rainbow City. What a perfect town for such a colorful store. I cannot say enough good things about them. From my very first visit I was in love! I know frequent the store weekly as well as shop their weekly Facebook live shows. The variety of items, the quality of their products, the prices, and the experience you get from visiting their store is all 5 star. The owners are both precious and knowledgeable on the products they offer. I did notice the previous comment from Charles and I hate that your experience lacked the same enthusiasm. I appreciate the intent to give them another chance because I can assure you it will be worth it. There is so much to know and learn about all the variety of crystals and their healing properties. The new employees I have met have been quite pleasant, but I am sure it can get overwhelming. Bare with them as they learn.
