Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Alabama

Worst customer service I’ve ever seen....... Our EMS class @ Gadsden State orders at least 5 or 6 pizzas a week from this business and tonight’s interaction has put an end to this. After ordering 5 pizzas we continued with class. An hour later we call to check where our pizzas were and we were informed that the driver couldn’t find our building so they turned around and went back to the store. After giving step by step directions we began class again. After 30 minutes a student called asking where our order was and was told them that when we ordered the first time they didn’t have a driver....... ( so someone lied) we then asked to speak to a manager and was promptly hung up on. ( the fastest service we had seen all night) We called back and spoke to Johnathan ( I believe was his name) and he refused to take any money off the purchase even with the order now being well over and hour and a half wait. When the driver finally came with the freezing cold pizzas she called and asked if she could discount the order and was told again by the manager that since we used a coupon they weren’t going to discount the pizzas. Ordered a BBQ chicken pizza with extra sauce. I swear they dumped a bottle. Every time I go to pick up a slice all the cheese and toppings slide right off so that it needs to be eaten with a fork. Well I'm in a hotel that doesn't have forks. I called and talked to the manager Michael and he proceeded to tell that's the way its supposed to be made. Now, I've been ordering my BBQ pizza this way for years and NEVER had that happen. He said to me, "do you make pizzas for a living". Dude was so rude. I asked for his name and he said Michael, but when I asked for his last name he wouldn't give it to me. Well, I know his last name now. Michael Holman does not possess the customer skills to be "general manager" . Any time in my life that I've had a problem with my pizza at other locations (which is rare for Papa John's) a credit is offered or a new pizza is brought out. Not this time, though. Michael proceeds to tell me that if it is made to order then he can't do anything about it and suggested I order it will done... Guess what I HAD. I'm left here with a pizza that has to be eaten "King Henry" style.......

BEWARE OF SCAMUsed to like Papa John's, but I will never go again! Go to Attala!This happened on 9-20-24 I bought 38.70 in pizza use my card online but when I got there I decided to buy four 20 oz which was 8.76.the girl at the counter blonde who calls herself a manager rang me up three times telling me that my card did not go through.said it was a computer problem.Before I left I decided to check my bank account online I showed her she charged me $8.76 twice on top of the $38.70 This "Manager" rolls her eyes and tell me I was wrong it was a computer error. There was nothing she could do I would have to take it up with my bank. I went to my bank immediately since it's right across the street.at the time I only saw two charges. The bank said if it was a computer error it would automatically come back the following day. Two days later I see 3 charges for my drinks plus the $38.70 in pizza. Needless to say I will be seeing the bank in the morning. But will never come to this location again! Watch your money...
