2 stars only because the food is good. I placed an online order at 11:57 am. Got an email saying my food will be ready at 12:09. At 12:30 when it still wasnāt ready bc they were short staffed (4 workers is what I counted in total) and lunch rush because there were a lot of people, when it dwindled down, I went to the counter and told them, if my pick up order isnāt ready to go, Iād like to cancel for a refund, I have to grab my kids lunch, the cashier said yours is getting made, I said will it be ready now, if not, I can cancel, so she told them to cancel out my order, and told me Iād be refunded online as soon as he cancels out the order. He canceled it there but I never got a refund or email or a refund. I waited til later that evening, still no refund or email of my order being canceled. So I called the place 3x and got no answer. Checked the following day and they took the money for my order and never canceled or refunded it. The service was terrible, they need to hire more employees for lunch hour or weekends bc the way it was running was just ridiculous. The wait, the flow and process of things. Walking around calling for names instead of having a speaker and microphone to call the customers name or order number is crazy. Drink station having the floor wet in front of it and a customer throwing napkins down to soak it up so people donāt fall is crazy, thatās not their job and thatās an accident waiting to happen. All of the employees were busy and running behind, not really their fault, management needs to hire more employees for those days or hours and they need to organize the way they can keep the business running smoothly bc the way everything was going was chaotic and that falls on the manager or district manager, not the regular employees. They need more hands in there and to be more organized. 1- walking around cleaning messes 2- have 2 making the food 3- have 2 prepping the plates 4- have 2 to take orders and carry out/call orders out or take to the tables so everyone isn't standing and crowding the front waiting on order. I come to this location when I visit my daughter who lives nearby, and I usually have to be at her house at a certain time to babysit. Tried on 3/18/22 to order online via the app. Easy and I can get my order in and ready for pickup before I leave my house 45 minutes away. Except on 3/18/22 they had turned off online ordering at 3:30 pm. Then I start trying to call my order in and someone answers the phone and immediately puts me on hold. After being on hold for 6 minutes, I hung up and called backā¦.but they had taken the phone off the hook so all the way during my drive I keep trying to call and for 45 minutes solid the line was busy. I am frustrated but think maybe they are short staffed although I am surprised they are SO busy they canāt answer the phone OR take online orders at 3:30 pm. We really wanted CSC so I decide to drive on to the location and just walk in and order to go. I pull in to an empty parking lot and I walk in to not one customer in the restaurant, dining in or picking up a to go order. Five employees were just standing around waiting for something to happen. This is just how many employees I could see from the front counter, could have been more in the back. Point is, they were NOT busy. After I placed my order (with 10 minutes to spare to get to where I needed to be) and while Iām standing around waiting for my order, a girl with a baby comes in and says āI have a Gadsden to go orderā and she is immediately presented with the order she was somehow allowed to call in or place online and sheās in and out in 1 minute,, which is the kind of service I needed on this particular day when I had to be somewhere at a certain time. I realize the employees donāt really care how many orders are placed but I bet the owner does. I really like the food here and we donāt have CSC where I live or otherwise I would NOT have gone to the trouble to go in and wait for a go order that I should have been able to place on the app or call...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt get to visit often, because of it being out of the way, but this is the second time I have went within the last few months and they have been nearly out of food. Both times have been on Friday, so I am assuming they arenāt ordering enough food for the week. The first time it happened, when they had very slim pickings, the girl at the counter was handing out free coupons for the inconvenience (since they had something I wanted, I had to pay full price). Several people left mad. Today there were more options, but still many things missing off the menu. Not sure if they have changed owners or management, but this has only recently been a problem (at least for me). Hope yahāll get it together, because I do enjoy your food and would hate to see you close up shop. Please do better!
