We visited Paul's (and Wanda's!) Mountain Meats for the first time today but it certainly won't be our last visit! We moved into the area a few months ago and were searching for some good quality steaks and found this place online. The reviews were all glowing so we had to give it a try. We are very glad we did! Paul and Wanda welcomed us into their business and treated us as if they had known us for years. We told Wanda what we were looking for and she said Paul would take care of us and he certainly did. He provided us with a selection of beautiful beef tenderloins from which to choose and he cut the one we picked while we browsed their amazing selection. Of course, while we were there we found several other items we wanted and they were kind enough to make suggestions. Paul even offered a sample of some absolutely wonderful cider from a bottle he opened while we were there and, of course, it was so good we bought a couple bottles of that too! We also bought a selection of jams, jellies, butters and preserves. Paul and Wanda Bowen are, without doubt, the friendliest and most helpful people we've encountered in many years, guaranteeing we will be return customers in the near future... and we can't wait to eat those...

In fact, we drive from Florida just to stock up on the homemade breakfast and hot sausage...it is just that good and well worth the trip. Not to mention the location...right next to the beautiful nocculula falls. The owners are fantastically...

They greeted us and talked to us about their local jams and butters (of course I picked up two of!) and they were happy to help me get some knuckle bones for my dog to chew on!
