My husband and I visited this store today (Thursday afternoon) for the first time in the nearly 2 years that we've been in Florida and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of items under one roof.

There is plenty to look at from umbrellas in wine bottle-shaped cases to hand-crafted jewelry to useful (and ornamental) home goods. There is a large price range. The bigger artisan glass centerpieces are obviously not for anyone with a modest budget, but if you know the work that goes into that art, I can understand the price tag...

We were only supposed to be browsing while waiting for our order from Cheesecake Factory, but a pair of custom socks at the stand next to the counter caught my eye. The gray socks had "Worst Gift Ever" embroidered onto them next to a sad-looking sock sitting on steps. I decided that those would be PERFECT for a Dirty Santa gift exchange at work. (I was right - the gift recipient LOVED them!). I also bought motivational stickers to add to my holiday cards for decoration and a kitschy alligator pin for the lapel of my jacket.

At the checkout counter, I met the owner, Paula, who was very friendly, informative, and efficient. She even neatly gift wrapped the socks (how thoughtful!) since I mentioned that I was bringing them with me to my holiday office party later that afternoon. I will definitely be visiting this store again for gift ideas and to see the new seasonal items that Paula displays the next time we're in town. I'll tell my friends about this place so they can enjoy the interesting variety that this gift shop carries.

We went there yesterday for the first time. I was really looking forward to going into this boutique! I had wanted to go so many times, but never made it in on the weekends that we were here for the games but I don’t know if it was the owner yesterday, but she snapped at me when I ask her about the price of some things, it was hard to tell the prices of some of the things that I was wanting to purchase, but I can tell you one thing right now, I don’t care if G-D came down and brought the things into this boutique, I will never step foot in there again, based on the woman that snapped at me ! And it wasn’t like they were busy to help customers in there yesterday, because there was only one couple and then the two of us so there were only four people in that store that were looking at and possibly shopping. I found several companies, and I’ve managed several corporations and companies, and I would never treat anybody the way...

I was looking for a very specific Spartina Windbreaker. It was on several sites, some with a lower price. The other sites felt shaky. I'm a retailer and have a Shopify site, so I recognized this on AGAPANTHUS. I chose AGAPANTHUS because their website had a very clear identification of location in the US. There are a lot of sites out there that ARE NOT American. I want to buy with certainty from a US retailer. Hoping to have my product in a few days and even though I paid a little more, at least if there is an issue, I will have a US business to work with....
