THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE by Eric the Manager. We were actually looking for a different business when our GPS led us to this store. When we walked in and asked where the other business was, Eric quickly began to bad mouth the other company saying that he worked for them for a long time and they were horrible and we should just shop at this Buddy's location. So after looking around a bit and checking out their selection we selected a living-room set but we needed to have guaranteed delivery by a certain date and he assured us that it was no problem. Flash forward to the middle of the scheduled delivery window time, we called the store to check on the delivery and sure enough, Eric again tried to make excuses and get us to move the delivery to the next day. I do say that I have NO COMPLAINTS with the delivery crew, they were very polite and professional. So after having the furniture in our home for less than 24 hours we knew this was not going to work. The furniture was EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE! I called first thing the next day and asked about switching to something different or returning it completely and was assured there would not be a problem and I was to call back on Monday. Well when we called back on Monday to just ask for the furniture to be picked up because it was just way too uncomfortable. That is when Eric said that he could swap it out for a different set later that same day but when we told him NO that we just wanted to have the furniture picked up and the contract terminated, he said it would be more than a week before he could have a driver pick up the furniture but he just had a driver to bring us something different! Eric was very RUDE and unwilling to help with the pick up of the furniture. I ended up having to call the corporate office to get them to schedule the pick up of the furniture. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE WHAT SO EVER UNTIL ERIC, the current Manager is REPLACED with someone who is more customer...
Read moreI went by the location in Gainesville on 34th street last Tuesday June 5th around 6:30pm and leased an Xbox One S. I hadn’t had a chance to unwrap the plastic around it or even plug it in due to work until later today when I had planned on playing it over the weekend. Well when I unwrapped it I noticed it was very dirty and banged up, the remote was missing it’s battery pack and the console wouldn’t turn on. I tried to troubleshoot the issue myself by changing the cords and trying different outlets but the console still wouldn’t turn on. It was honestly a piece of junk and I’m surprised they would lease something out like that in the condition that it’s in. I wish I would’ve plugged it up and tried using it as soon as I got home so I could’ve gotten it replaced before the weekend..
So much for that though because now I can’t get anything done until Monday after work. I hope the manager will give me the time I’ve missed free and change the console out being that I paid for two weeks upfront..
I guess that’s what you get with...
Read moreI just stopped in to see if they had any rugs and to look at new small tables. This is a rent to own, and I found a picture of a cute tall table with tall chairs that would have been good for my counter as well. Funny thing I asked about price, and she kept giving me "oh it this much per month," which she was a little fumbling on the information. I said how much would it be buying straight up, and it's the same price. From what I know of rent to own places, it's just a little more when you use their payments, hence how they also make some money. I observed a guy who had been making payments on an item he still had not rven received as they have to order the products and have them delivered to you. He was about to make his 6th payment, and all I overheard was unknown multiple excuses of why he had not received his items. I won't go back to use them for...
