Today 3/13/2019 my pest control service was being completed at our home in Tiger, GA. Every once in a while I’ll be that stalker lady and watch the cameras around the property to insure I’m actually getting what I’m paying for. Unfortunately what I saw was very upsetting. Our regular bug guy Chris was there and he always does an amazing job. There was also a second guy there with him this time that I’ve never seen before a taller slender guy that Chris was calling Jack, Mack, or something to that effect. I believe he may of been a manager based off the small cook’s pest control vehicle he was driving. If this was a manager that’s even more disappointing. He urinated on my flowers and then it looked as if he was looking right at my camera shaking his junk (btw wasn’t very impressive if he was trying to show it off)! On top of that he was walking around my yard cursing and using God’s name in vein (for a company that prides itself in being a Godly company it sure didn’t seem like it!) if there was a pest control company that could actually do a decent job in the area I would have already canceled my services. Lucky for Cook’s Pest Control my husband is very pleased with Chris, but not the company after watching the video for himself. I’m filing a complaint with the BBB and with the Cook’s Pest Control Coorporate office just because if this is a manager I want to make sure it doesn’t just get silinced!
So apparently Cook’s Pest Control handles things a bit differently then most companies would. Instead of having a manager contact me about the issues that I informed them of with my earlier review on Jack. They had him call me directly. Read moreI don't think I can say enough good things about the people of Cook's. After all I don't do business with a company, it's with the people, i.e. the person that answers the phone (and it's a person!), the technicians and the managers. I thought I had a problem and I expressed that in a survey response. I got an email and a phone call from Jesse Ferguson. He took ownership of the problem immediately. That's why I said I thought I had a problem. Not once in my interaction with Mr. Ferguson did he offer a reason or excuse. He took it and fixed it. After that I called the office because I saw some pests. Again, it was not my problem but Cook's. Our technician, Blake, came to my home in short order. He treated for the pests I mentioned and then some. Overkill? I hope so! No only that, Blake sent me an email and text to make sure I call if there are further issues for Cook's Pest Control to resolve. What I'm trying to convey is that Cook's Pest Control takes my pest problems and makes them go away. Isn't that all anyone ever wants? Thank you Cook's and by that I mean the people of Cook's! Read moreWas not impressed with the level of service and professionalism I received from the technician we had for our past 2 services and asked them to send someone else out for our next appointment. When I communicated this with the office, Jennifer told me that she would have to ask her manager if it was okay to send another tech out. I never hear anything back, and the next day I check our home cameras to see the tech I had asked them not to send at my home doing work! I was not notified that she was going to be sent, and didn't even receive a courtesy call when she was in route. Coming from a contact center manager for another home service company, I was blown away at the unprofessionalism.
The last time I was scheduled to have someone out, the tech, Stormey, didn't even know that she was supposed to be at my home! If she hadn't stopped by on her way through to another appointment, I wouldn't have ever seen her and they would have no showed my appointment. I had to let her connect to my internet so she could call her manager to see what was going on. I have been in the industry for almost 10 years now, and this is not the world class service I am used to seeing.
