We adopted a puppy today (Mama Pajama) renamed Roxy. She is perfect for our family and we are very happy with her. The facility was very clean, which I was very pleased with. There was no wait to see the pups and minimal wait to complete the adoption process. Their prices, even for puppies, are better than most places we had been looking at, AND she came spayed and vaccinated, and treated for fleas and parasites. Because of her age, she is due soon for boosters. They offer vet services at a first come first serve basis for vaccines, etc, at a cheaper rate than other vet offices. This is a great option, especially for families who may not have enough for a regular vet bill. They are accommodating for all family types and that is wonderful because everyone deserves a chance to have a great animal such as these in their life. There was no lengthy application process and, while asking questions to ensure the animal will go to a good home, they don’t make the process nearly impossible to achieve. They even provided the first bag of dog food (Purina One brand, very good/healthy food) as well as a goody bag with poop bags, a leash, etc. This was included at no extra charge with the adoption. It was a happy and stressless experience. They are also following COVID Safety requirements, which is an extra, current perk. I’m very glad we chose their facility to pick our new pup. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is serious about wanting to adopt a great dog or cat. We couldn’t be...
Read moreWe adopted a little cat named Friskies. She had an eye infection when we first got her but the care and attention provided by the staff her was outstanding, she got better in just a week and now is being absolutely loved and adored, she has been renamed as Laila and is one of the sweetest most active babies ever. The staff was attentive and let us experience the cats, they were very knowledgeable when it came to knowing what their personalities were like, and they even encourage us to come back if we couldn't find what we were looking for. The options were limited the day we went and there wasn't much variety, but they were honest about the animals that were coming in the upcoming days and that made us extremely comfortable and just showed us how much they truly cared for all animals. They gave us everything we needed for our little Laila including a complementary vet appointment at their vet and it was just amazing work all around, one of the staff even thanked us for taking a change in a little sick cat, but tbh my sister fell in love with Friskies as soon as she laid eyes on her and we knew she was gonna be coming home with us anyway. We appreciate everything that this adoption center does for all their animals and we are so thankful we were able to adopt from them because they seem like the genually care for all their residents. Again, thank you so much for our newly addition to our home! Attached is a before (with her infected...
Read moreWe went in to adopt a second dog, we have a small dog at home as well as a toddler, when we went for the meet and great, she was brought directly from her kennel, so she was very excited and energetic, which would be fine, if it weren't for the fact that she was meeting a small, SHY dog that was nervous about being in a new place with TONS of new animals in it, rather than letting them meet outside where they could be more comfortable, we got to meet in the entryway, the dog we were meeting didn't have a chance to calm down before meeting my small dog so naturally she didn't react well to a large dog jumping and being excited, and rather than giving them a few minutes, it was an instantaneous No from the person that, I would think, knows unfamiliar places, people, and animals can be scary. I'm hugely disappointed with the experience, and will not be adopting from here in the future since the people aren't even willing to work with the family and give...
