First I would like to say I have nothing but nice things to say about the woman in the sales department that went out of her way to help me find someone in the service department. I also had a very positive experience with Matt (the service advisor) who was very helpful in looking over the bill and who went out of his way to show me where my car was parked. These two people did an amazing job.
The reason I am giving a 1 star review is because of Craig (the service manager). I had my car in there for a Full Self driving upgrade which I previously paid for so it was suppose to cost 0 dollars. Since the car was already there, I decided to replace a door handle which they said was going to be $141 for labor plus $35 for parts. I confirmed the quote (Less than $200). After several days, which I completely understand because I can see how complications can come up, I was charged $141 for labor plus $145 for the door handle. In addition I was charged $28.20 labor and $85 for a new battery (Total over 400 dollars!). I was NEVER asked to approve the the price change on the handle install or the install of the new battery. I never had any indication the 12 volt battery was going bad in the past. All i asked of Craig (The service Manager) was to refund the labor involved to put in the new battery ($28) (I felt this was fair because a new battery was put in, but I already paid for the upgrade and didn't expect any surprises especially relating to labor). Sarah the sales representative in the lobby was an incredibly helpful and accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. She got us in contact with the service center and advocated for us when they were unhelpful. Amazing service from Sarah!
Edit: Having interacted and worked with the service team further on issues regarding my car, I have only become more disappointed. While the sales team are wonderful and continue to actually work with me to fix any problems, the service team returns my car dirty and damaged. When asking about it I was repeatedly dismissed with no actual solutions or compensation other than to make a new appointment. I have been to many other service centers in my life and the service team here are the worst I have seen in helping customers. I am wildly disappointed and am incredibly hesitant to come to this center in the future, even if it means I have to drive an hour and a half away.
