Roses - whoa, THIS really is is a discount store! Stylish Nicole Miller bathing suits for $14.99, 2-packs of nice quality chair cushions for a bit over $10.00, 2 packs of pretty soft microfiber pillowcases for $1.00, whaaat? I saw a floor lamp with a very nice thick curved base that I want for $89.00, so I’m already planning another trip to Roses! And then there’s a v good Ollie’s Army, a large store that looked like bath remodel supplies or something and a Harbor Freight, which sells tools, etc. There are quite a few smaller stores as well. At Roses, the cashier, admittedly, rang me up for the same purchase twice. She literally charged my card twice, knowingly, and refused to refund one of the purchases. Then she and her manager got loud, and thuggish with me, and then told me to dispute the charge with my bank or drive back there on another day to talk to another manager about it. Needless to say, I disputed the charge with my bank, and got my money back, but why would they not just make the obvious problem right with the customer without the added inconvenience of having to dispute the charge...
