Fish of Galesburg — Local services in Galesburg

I stopped in on July 3rd because I've heard so many good things about FISH ! I also have a friend who volunteers there and I wanted to surprise him. I met three lovely women, (Linda, Diane and Debbie), who were Beyond Gracious ! They gave me the background of FISH, and answered all my questions. They impressed me so much, I asked if I could be put on the schedule as a volunteer !... They needed the help, so I was scheduled! :-) Due to "Circumstance," my 'Start Date' was moved to Tuesday, July 16. I am Extremely Excited to be a part of this Organization which Strives to HELP As Many People As Possible...

Strategically went here on 7/28 because I knew they had a big donation at hyvee that past weekend, and we go in disappointed because the shelf are empty. I turn down the generic stuff that's probably expired. Where is the recent donated food? Guess I'll have to do a walk thru prior to handing the front...

The volunteers are all so nice and helpful. I'm so glad that there is a program like this to help the local people. I just had my son and the food provided has helped so much during the time I haven't...
