Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Galesburg

It was the worst sandwich I ever had served to me. I had the 5$ bacon bbq meal. The fries were the best. The sandwich was horrible. The onion was thicker than my: over cooked, dried up, cold but. The bacon was almost non existent! I would never order it again... never and I don't recommend it to anyone. Also I paid, at the time I ordered my meal, extra hot fudge on my sundae. .... for later. They brought it with my meal and I explained...I said I did not want it yet. So he took it back. When I got a few blocks to my friends house... where I was taking the sundae to get... it was all melted and soupy. They kept t that same sundae until I told them I was ready for it to go. I should have checked it in the bag.... my second or third mistake with this order. One was the choice I made, two was ordering and paying for the extra hot fudge when I paid for my meal, and third mistake was not checking the sundae. .... but maybe the wordy and biggest mistake I made was going there in the first place but I have before and it was always very good... but first time ordering this sandwich..... the last one too!! I told the counter person my feeling on the sandwich, but of course, I didn't know about the sundae... Grrrrr food is too expensive to pay good money for bad food... and too many restaurants needing the business. I'm rating this a one only because I can't...

We just happened to be waited on by some young man who you could tell wanted to be anywhere else than here by the fact he never Iistened to anything we said. I told him, my grandson told him and my husband told him we wanted applesauce with his kids meal. We got fries. No problem, I took his food back and said remember he wanted applesauce? You gave him fries. He said 'no one told me he wanted fries.' I told him 'yes, all three of us told you, but that's fine.' He got the applesauce. The fries we had were raw. HORRIBLE! Glad my grandson didn't want any. Then, since my grandson ate all his food, my husband ordered their ice cream cones. One for each of us. He got my grandson's cone, but started putting supplies up, waited on TWO other people and then FINALLY got our ice cream cones. By this time my grandson was done with his. My son and I tried Dairy Queen for the first time in Galesburg on Henderson at the Dairy Queen Grill and Chill. While the burgers and grill side looked good especially to my son 🤣. But since we planned to have dinner at home later we just enjoyed the cool treats. My father in law got a Heath Bar Blizzard, my husband got the Snickers Blizzard and my son got a banana split. I shared with my husband and father in law so I can tell you the blizzards are great. They make them thick and demonstrate this by holding it upside down before serving it to you.
