Horrible experience. HORRIBLE customer experience. Bugs! Rude staff members!, Wifi issues, Marshy beach access 1) crawling BUGS everywhere + in comforters! there were bugs everywhere including earwigs in the downstairs floor and there were flies in the comforters. This was the first day we were there. Earwigs are nocturnal so they come out at night but we also saw flies in our comforter--including on top of it and when i pulled back the comforters. Thankfully they gave us a bug spray however, i still had to change the bedsheets and close off the downstairs of the townhome; 2) DID NOT SPRAY BUG SPRAY PRIOR TO US ARRIVING. The next day they had someone come in to do a full insect spray and after that the bugs were minimal. This tells me that they hadnt had the place sprayed. we have family that live on the lake AND we stayed at the ideal beach resort which was also ON the bear lake and we had NO bug problems. This is specific to Legacy Beach resort. When we called, the guy told us it was 'bs' and hung up the phone on us --if its BS feel free to look at the videos/photos. 3) MARSHY BEACH ACCESS: they say they have beach access which is true but its on the marshiest part of the lake. My recommendation is if you want to have kids play on the beach, don't go here. there are WAY better beach access in other areas of garden city/bear lake 4) 1-2 RUDE STAFF MEMBERS: Specific staff members were rude. Don't know if its Zach/Nick. Jarvis was super nice though) 5) WIFI ISSUES - no help from staff: the power went out so the WIFI went out. but after a couple of hours the power came back but the wifi didn't. We waited a couple of hours but then we had work stuff to do so we called and not only did they NOT know where the modem was but when we called they asked "what else do you want to complain about' and hung up on us. Thankfully we searched the whole place and found the modem/router and reset it that second that they finally texted us back. they blamed it on the power going out and 'claimed' they had called the internet company and they they 'it was out of their control'. when we reset the model the wifi came back on so the staff didn't do anything about it (nor knew where the modem was) 6) the screen door to balcony was broken - not a big deal but im sure that was one of the causes for the flies to be in the place - Thankfully Jarvis fixed it so no big deal. The only pro i would say is it was a new place, new appliances and quite clean.

This venue is located on Bear lake Blvd which is the main road through. It is lake side. Plenty of parking. It is secure gated with keypad entry. The place was absolutely lovely! My son and new daughter in law hosted their wedding ceremony and reception here last weekend (the ring of fire wknd 😁). The house sleeps 70+ people. There is a HUGE kitchen with fridge/freezerS, stove and oven, dishwasherS, a game room, restrooms in common areas as well as each hotel style room has its own bathroom included. The bathrooms are clean and stocked just as a hotel room would be. The picture I posted was taken from the balcony of our room. It was so cloudy and 34 degrees that morning but by noon had reached about 70 something and all the clouds cleared! There is a sound system as well so the officiator was able to wear a cordless mic and was clearly heard. Music can also be played. There is also a projector and screen available. Not sure about any costs or the business end of it all since that was not my part but my son said it was the best option for them.

Nice, new townhouse with great views! Decor was fantastic, plenty of room in kitchen and great room. Biggest bonus was the tall garage to be used for boat storage. Location was also great as it was close to the lake and boat ramp. Parking was also easy and convenient. The parking lot was private and included a gate. The kids also enjoyed the community pool and hot tub. We had a few questions and the manager was great at getting back to us quickly. We would visit again for sure as it made for a great weekend.

Since this wasn't our families first stay at Inn at the Lake we knew what to expect. Or so we thought. We were pleasantly surprised with improvements that had been made since our last stay. More athletic fun, three fridges and the back decking had been resurfaced and made it much safer for grandchildren getting out of the fabulous pool. Our family had a blast at the volleyball court, the pool, the hot tub and basketball court. Having enough rooms for our large family, which includes full bathrooms is always a plus for our family. We have 22 grandchildren ranging in age from in the womb to 21 years old. Parents and kids enjoy their privacy and Inn at the Lake provides plenty of privacy. With two ovens and three fridges plus the cook top stove, tons of counter space and well placed sinks, food storage and preparation is a snap. The breakfast nook seats 8 adults very comfortably and tons of grandkids. In addition there are two long tables with chairs on both sides so there is plenty of sitting space to enjoy meals together as a family. One thing our family enjoys is the fabulous blend of private space and group space. The second floor balcony looks out over the very spacious living room and dining area. In the basement the bunk room is a huge hit for our grandchildren. Cousins get to enjoy their time together and get to have a sleep over which they normally don't since our family is located in three different states. The ping pong table and foosball table were both main attractions for several of our family members. The pool was always kept clean and unfortunately for the staff, we became experts at locking our keys in the room. Chuck and staff were very kind and forgiving. They would hustle to the house to get our grandkids back in their rooms. They were kind, helpful and forgiving for us bothering them. If there was a 6th star on the rating scale we would give a six star review. We love Inn at the Lake and we are already making plans for our next stay there. Thank you Chuck and staff for providing such a warm and welcoming environment for our family reunion. See...

Stayed Sept 2-5th 2020 Upon arrival our initial reaction was that the place was so new and nice!! A fully stocked kitchen (plates, cups, pans). There were plenty of bathroom linens But only one dish towel and one dish cloth. We quickly realized that we had to climb two flights (literally 25 stairs) to get to the kitchen and master bedroom area. This was a major issue as my husband has extremely bad knees. I wish that had been noted when booking the room. (Lesson learned to ask next time I book a room) After spending our first evening we notice the bottoms of all our feet were black from walking around on the floors just half day. The next night We dropped a pen and it rolled under a couch downstairs. We moved the couch to get it were appalled at how much garbage, dust, & dirt was under the couch! We decided we couldn’t just leave it so looked for a broom-no broom (although 90% of the floors were hard surface). So we vacuumed it instead. As a family vacation we wanted to play games but there’s not a table here. There are some soft cushion “end tables” and a large kitchen bar but not comfortable to sit around and put a game board on. We called the office to ask to borrow a card table or something but they didn’t have anything. It was cold so we grabbed a couple of blankets that were stored in the closet. Two of them had old wrist band stickers stuck to them which means they’ve not been washed after used. We could deal with all of this until we went to “the beach!” Wow there was no beach! Just a soggy rut-covered muddy swamp. THAT was the most disappointing part! I guess we’d had too high of expectations in thinking things were clean just because it was a...
