EDIT: Mor Furniture contacted me and made an effort to resolve this issue with me. They let me exchange my mattress for a different one. I am happy with the new mattress. I still would not recommend any of the pseudo leather couches from any furniture store due to them degrading so quickly. Save for the real leather or get cloth. Even though it took Mor's customer service awhile to turn around I am changing my score from 1 to 3.
I wish I had read more reviews about how cheaply made Mor furniture is before learning a $2700 lesson from them. When it comes to furniture just pay the extra $500 to get it from a reputable store or online rather than having to replace it a year or two later. This place is great if you need furniture for a college dorm room and you are going to throw it away in a year.
I bought a king mattress ($1100) and a couch ($1600) from Mor for my first apartment on my own. Less than a year later my girlfriend started complaining that the mattress being lopsided on the side that I slept on. She said it was basically like trying to sleep on a ramp. I call Mor because it has to be under warranty, they send out a "third party mattress technician" who comes in and says yes the one side is definitely indented an inch and that is not normal for a mattress under a year old. Get back with Mor and their sales guy "Ty" tells me "Oh sorry, it has to be an inch AND A QUARTER for us to replace it, bye!" After a few more phone calls of Mor and company giving me the run around we quit. I guess that was what their intention was with their terrible customer service. Now my significant other and I sleep on a defective lopsided mattress.
Now on to the couch. Great couch for the year and half. Now the fake leather is disintegrating. Every cushion whether we sat on it or not is falling apart. An extra bonus is you find little flakes of the fake leather on your clothes, in your hair and basically everywhere. You can even see them coming off you when you take a shower! Luckily for me Mor doesn't do any warranties on couches past a year so I got to avoid dealing with their terrible customer service staff this time around!
Now all I have to do is buy all new stuff to replace the stuff I just...
Read moreMy husband and I went to Mor furniture today, we walked in and we were looking at couches and a salesman (Walter) came up and asked us if he could help us and started talking to us about some of couches and then he left us to look on our own for a bit and he came back to us to see if we had any questions about anything or if we found a couch that we were interested in, we showed him the one that we liked and he told us all about it. There was one across from the one that we were looking at that was the same but different material. After everything that he had told us we decided to get the couch that was across from the one that we were looking at. We also got a loveseat. Walter was very good , he went to check to see if they had both pieces available here. Walter came back and told us the couch was here in Boise , but the loveseat wasn’t so we have to wait, which was no problem. He also talked to us about a warranty plan that we ended up getting. We appreciate everything Walter did for us . Walter is a very good salesman, he is very knowledgeable about the merchandise. He helped us make the right decision for our home, Thank you very much WALTER, you are AWESOME!!! Can’t wait to get our new furniture. When we come back we will look for you next time. Thanks...
Read moreThe wrong hardware was provided to the installers, so we had to wait until 5 p.m. for Rafa to arrive with the proper hardware to install all four legs. Once the table was lifted, we saw scrapes and scuffs on the surface of the table. Rafa said he'd send someone to remedy the scratches and scuffs, but that will supposedly take place on 8/26/24. We've heard nothing since 8/17/24. We won't purchase anything at Mor again and will definitely tell our friends about this experience.
Edit #1: Not even TWO WEEKS later, the reclining couch doesn't revert to its original position. The head of the couch is now sticking out and away from the base! No amount of money is worth an unsightly piece of furniture stuck out of position after only ONE WEEK! I strongly hesitated about entering any Mor store, but my husband wanted to go in and immediately loved this couch and loveseat for $2995. Hopefully, he has learned his lesson. PLEASE come pick up your junk AND return my money so I can go to a more reputable furniture store with quality as its main focus!!! Mor Furniture should really be ashamed and embarrassed for passing off JUNK to unsuspecting customers. I should have heeded my gut when I noticed the parking lot is...
