Chrysanthi's restaurant is much better now since the addition was put on. Parking is VERH generous and maybe 55 steps from car to door is the most you'll walk. Once inside you're able to sit at the bar or enter the dining room. The dining room is less than elegant and I compare it to a summer camp mess hall. Nothing fancy ... walk in, pick a table ... sit and a waitress will take your order. The menu is pretty vanilla and is easily laid out to order your supper. I did order a Greek dish, spanokopita, which was frozen ... microwave defrosted, and shoved into the oven. It was tasty, but nothing like my Yiayia used to make. The menu prices overall are perhaps 3 to 5 dollars more at this time considering the covid virus episode we've all experienced. Even the beer was a bit much for what it is. The service is quick and the young ladies trying to earn money for school or rent are fast, polite, and very efficient...especially taking the orders. For a country restaurant, this place is pretty nice and YES I would go back again. The 3 stars is related to the dinning hall which could use some wall color, carpet floor, and perhaps a little classical music playing in the background. I did not visit the bar (as you walk into the restaurant), but there certainly were many filling the seats with social distance. Tell me what...
Read moreExcellent Watch & Jewelry shop. I needed a new watch. I went to see Bruce at his local shop. I had never been there before. Bruce was very friendly and inviting. He had a very good display of watches and jewelry. I was looking for a specific watch that Bruce did not happen to have in his shop at the time. He immediately ordered the watch I was looking for from the factory. By request he also ordered another watch band for me. The watch and the extra band came in very fast. I was pleasantly surprised. Bruce's prices were very reasonable too. I looked around online before I went to him but ultimately I wanted a local shop to get the business, not some offshore online shop. I will definitely be going back to Bruce's Watch & Jewelry if I need anything else...
Read moreBruce was very friendly, however when I took a ceramic watch in for him to resize the band. Not only did the service take 5 hours, but he failed to put the pin back in the band proper and my watch came off, shattering on the pavement less than 5 minutes after leaving his store. It was a very expensive watch, (luckily my husband has purchased me 11 new watches, so I almost forgot about this tragedy ) I did not purchase the watch there, so there was no need to go back and complain because there would have been nothing he could do but apologize. For the listed reason, I am apprehensive about returning and I am rating this business...
