Goodwill — Local services in Garfield Heights

Large space, dig deep enough and you might find a good deal. However there is no reason whatsoever why I or anyone else should pay regular store price for something at a GOOD WILL! I should not be expected to pay $150 for a basic sheet set at a Goodwill when I can find the same basic sheet set at TJ Maxx for $30! Or $90 for a hand me down jacket when I can get a new jacket at Shoppers World or Foreman Mill for $35 and not have to worry about smelling old odors, dried up sweat and the extreme levels of Lysol y'all used to disinfect it before tagging it and putting it on the shelf. Do better, you should be ashamed. Inflation is nothing more than an excuse, a cover up. Isn't Goodwill supposed to be a Non Profit Organization? So you all are supposed to have sponsorships, investors, and money y'all raise from charity fundraisers etc so you don't have to rob the customer/overcharge for used goods. I've been to 3 different Goodwill stores in the past month. The Strongsville location needs to clean their bathrooms as there is a good coating of dust on all of the surfaces in it, and as a former cleaner/housekeeper I know it takes days if not weeks for that amount of grime to build up... Yuck! Went to the one in Middleburg heights and a lot of the items I wished to buy didn't have price tags, and when I asked about it they said they cannot sell the item without a tag, which I understand but it was an inconvenience all the same. Zero stars actually. I purchased a lift chair for my disabled husband. It would have been difficult, but not impossible, to get it into my vehicle so the staff told me they will hold it for two days so that I could bring a friend with a van to get it. I had to fill out paperwork and a sold tag was placed on the chair. I came to get it around noon when I had until 8:00 pm to get it and they had resold it. All they could do is offer me a refund.
